Beth Torah Congregation kicks off 60th anniversary celebration BY BARI AUERBACH Sixty years ago, it was a landmark day when Congregation of Monticello Park Jewish Center was founded on July 16, 1948…but on November 2, 2008, the community-wide celebration was even more monumental when the acclaimed Aventura area synagogue, now known as Beth Torah Congregation, kicked off a 60th anniversary celebration with spectacular festivities uniting over 1,000 families and community leaders.
