TRAIL AND VIEW FROM MOUNT RUBIDOUX Mt. Rubidoux is a great place to get a workout and experience nature. Its hiking trails are perfect for just about anyone as it is a short and mostly easy (paved) walk to the summit of the mountain. AQUATICS The state-of-the-art Riverside Aquatics Complex at Riverside City College has quickly established itself as a worldclass training and competition facility for swimming and diving. Visitors come from far and wide to see the next generation of potential Olympic athletes begin their aquatics careers in Riverside at prestigious USA Diving and AAU Diving events.
COLLEGE ATHLETICS As the home of 60,000 college students, Riverside also boasts four competitive collegiate sports programs with hundreds of student athletes competing in basketball, track and field, soccer, baseball, softball, football, swimming, and other highly competitive sports. PARKS Riverside’s vast network of parks has never looked more inviting. Andulka, Orange Terrace, Shamel, Arlington Heights Sports Park, Ryan Bonamino Park, and others provide plenty of space and top-notch facilities for baseball, softball, soccer, and basketball.
