The Centre for Macquarie English (CME) is the English language centre at Macquarie University, which provides Academic English and University Entry English Preparation programs for students wanting to enter Macquarie University without taking the IELTS test. HAS is a 10-week university entry English preparation program for international students who will study undergraduate and postgraduate degrees within the Human Sciences, Arts and Science faculties at Macquarie University. This program is discipline-specific and is based on In DISC the academic IPL SPECIF INErequirements I CONTE C and topics set by NT the professors and lecturers of this faculty.

When I came to CME it was just my 3rd month in an English speaking country. My English was quite poor and I had narrow knowledge about international system. CME was absolutely helpful for me not only in case of improving my vocabulary and grammar skills but also the course helped me to understand the complicated structure of modern international system. The program of course that was created by skilled professional and patient teachers has helped me to be well prepared for study in an Australian University.
