Reading & Writing All assignments & reports will be graded based on the following criteria:
• A full Heading in the upper right-hand corner of paper
• Following directions & answering all the questions that are assigned • Using COMPLETE sentences • Answering the questions correctly and adequately • Capital letters where appropriate • Using correct punctuation
Book Reports • Before starting to read a book for a book report, the teacher needs to approve it • For reports that are written (typed out), the following guidelines need to be met: o 5th Graders: 1 page double-spaced, 12 pt font o 6th Graders: 1½ page double-spaced, 12 pt font o 7th Graders: 2 pages double-spaced, 12 pt font o 8th Graders: 2½ pages double-spaced, 12 pt font "The more that you read, the more things you will know.
