Φωτιές: Πρόκειται για ένα έθιμο που συναντάμε σε όλο τον νομό αλλά και στον Δήμο Αμύνταιου. Στις 23 Δεκεμβρίου ανάβουν οι φωτιές, ένα έθιμο με ρίζες από τη Ρωμαϊκή Εποχή που η χριστιανική παράδοση θέλει να μιμούνται τις φωτιές που άναψαν οι βοσκοί για να ζεσταθεί ο μικρός Χριστός. Η περίοδος συμπίπτει με την παραδοσιακή διαδικασία της απόσταξης του τσίπουρου, οπότε δίπλα από την πυρά στρώνονται τραπέζια και γλεντάνε μέχρι το πρωί.

Αμύνταια: Οι κορυφαίες πολιτιστικές εκδηλώσεις του Δήμου Αμυνταίου πραγματοποιούνται στο τέλος του Αυγούστου και λαμβάνουν χώρα σε όλα τα τοπικά διαμερίσματα του Δήμου. Συναυλίες, εκθέσεις φωτογραφίας και ζωγραφικής, θεατρικές και παιδικές παραστάσεις βρίσκονται στο επίκεντρο του ενδιαφέροντος. Ξεχωριστή θέση κατέχει ο εορτασμός της αυγουστιάτικης πανσελήνου που ρίχνει το ειδυλλιακό της φως, στην Ελληνιστική πόλη των Πετρών, που ίδρυσε ο βασιλιάς Φίλιππος Β’.

Τσίρι – τσίρι βάρβαρα: Παραμονή της γιορτής της Αγίας Βαρβάρας, στις 3 Δεκεμβρίου, στο κέντρο της πλατείας ανάβει μια μεγάλη φωτιά.

Τη στιγμή του ανάμματος, οι κάτοικοι αναφωνούν όλοι μαζί «Τσίρι-τσίρι βάρβαρα». Η κεντρική πυρά στην πλατεία καταλήγει σε ένα λαϊκό ξεφάντωμα με άφθονο τοπικό κρασί, χάλκινες μελωδίες και πεντανόστιμα κεράσματα όπως φασολάδα, λουκάνικα και λουκουμάδες.

Ρακοκάζανα: Ένα παραδοσιακό αντάμωμα στον Άγιο Παντελεήμονα και τον Αετό την τελευταία εβδομάδα του Νοέμβρη, γύρω από την παρασκευή του ντόπιου τσίπουρου, ενός προϊόντος με ξεχωριστή ταυτότητα νοτισμένο από τις τέσσερις λίμνες της περιοχής. Ο επισκέπτης θα ζήσει μια μυσταγωγική εμπειρία στα αποστακτήρια της περιοχής, υπό τους ήχους των χάλκινων πνευστών που παίζουν οι κομπανίες, θα πιει τσίπουρο και θα γευτεί νόστιμα εδέσματα.

Εμποροπανήγυρη: Πραγματοποιείται

Bonfires "Foties": This is a custom found throughout the prefecture and also in the Municipality of Amyntaio. Fires are lit on December 23rd – a custom dating back to the Roman era, that the Christian tradition associates it with the fires lit by the shepherds to warm baby Jesus. The traditional procedure of tsipouro distillation also takes place now, so tables are set next to the bonfires and the feast lasts until the morning hours.

Amyntaia: The most important cultural events of the Municipality of Amyntaio take place in late August, all around the local districts of the Municipality. Concerts, photography and painting exhibitions, theatrical and children's performances are at the center of interest. A unique moment is the celebration of the August full moon that casts its idyllic light on the Hellenistic city of Petres, founded by King Philip II.

Tsiri – tsiri varvara: On the eve of the celebration of Agia Varvara, on December 3rd, a big fire is lit in the center of the square. When it is lit, the locals shout in unison "Tsiri-tsiri varvara". The bonfire in the middle of square ends up in into a traditional feast with plenty of local wine, tunes coming from the brass instruments and delicious dishes such as bean soup, sausages and doughnuts (loukoumades).

Rakokazana: A traditional gathering takes place at the settlements of Agios Panteleimon and Aetos, during the last week of November. The occasion is the preparation of the local tsipouro, a product whose distinct identity stems from the four lakes of the area. The visitor will have a mystical experience in the local distilleries, tasting the tsipouro and the delicious dishes to the tunes of the bands with the brass instruments.

Trade Fair: It takes place in the first week of October and is considered the largest in Western Macedonia. It has been established as a local institution that gathers the interest of the entire region, as it is an important cultural and social event.

Κέφι και χορός στη Γιορτή της Πιπεριάς στον Αετό.

Οι φωτιές που ανάβουν στις 23 Δεκεμβρίου στα χωριά του Δήμου Αμυνταίου είναι ένα πανάρχαιο έθιμο.

Γιορτή πιπεριάς: Πραγματοποιείται κάθε χρόνο τον Αύγουστο στον οι- κισμό Αετού. στον Δήμο Αμυνταίου.

Γιορτή πίτας: Πραγματοποιείται κάθε χρόνο τέλος Οκτώβρη στον οικισμό Λεχόβου με εκδηλώσεις παρασκευής και διάθεσής της.

Γιορτή πατάτας: Κάθε χρόνο διοργανώνεται στον οικισμό Σκλήθρο, που παράγει τις φημισμένες πατάτες με τη μοναδική γεύση.

Άναμμα Μπουμπούνας: Πραγματοποιείται κάθε χρόνο στο Λέχοβο, όπου ανάβει η μεγάλη φωτιά, την Κυριακή της Αποκριάς.

Το τριήμερο της Αποκριάς το Καρναβάλι του Ξινού Νερού με πολυποίκιλες εκδηλώσεις.

Στις 23 και 24 Ιουνίου αναβιώνει το έθιμο του «Κλήδωνα» στον Φιλώτα.

Δεκαπενταύγουστος στην Περικοπή: Το πανηγύρι της Κοινότητας Περικοπής είναι ξεχωριστό, καθώς πρόκειται για ένα ακατοίκητο χωριό που κάηκε ολοσχερώς κατά τη διάρκεια του Εμφυλίου Πολέμου. Ανάμεσα στα εναπομείναντα όρθια κτίσματα και το κατάφυτο περιβάλλον, λαμβάνει χώρα παραδοσιακό γλέντι.

Στον Άγιο Παντελεήμονα πραγματοποιείται το πανηγύρι του Αγίου Παντελεήμονα στις 27 Ιουλίου όπου την παραμονή αναβιώνει το έθιμο «Κουρμπάνι», μοναδικό στον Νομό Φλώρινας.

Στις 6 Ιανουαρίου γιορτάζονται με λαμπρότητα τα Φώτα στον Άγιο Παντελεήμονα και στο Λιμνοχώρι και στις 8 του ίδιου μήνα το έθιμο «Μπάμπιντεν» ή «Γιορτή της Μπάμπως» στον Άγιο Παντελεήμονα.

Τα «Βαρικιώτικα», πολιτιστικές εκδηλώσεις που πραγματοποιούνται στο Βαρικό 13-15 Αυγούστου.

Κατά τόπους πραγματοποιούνται τοπικά πανηγύρια και εκδηλώσεις όπως του Προφήτη Ηλία στις 20 Ιουλίου στο Λέχοβο, της Ζωοδόχου Πηγής στον Φανό των Ταξιαρχών, στις 8 Νοεμβρίου στον Αετό, στις 6 Αυγούστου το πανηγύρι της Μεταμορφώσεως του Σωτήρα στα Ασπρόγεια, της Παναγίας τον Δεκαπενταύγουστο στο Λιμνοχώρι και το Νυμφαίο, της Αγίας Παρασκευής στις 26 Ιουλίου στη Λεβαία και τον Φιλώτα, ενώ κάθε καλοκαίρι διοργανώνονται τα «Μανιάκεια» στο Μανιάκι Αμυνταίου.

Pepper festival: This festival takes place every year in August in the settlement of Aetos.

Pie festival: It takes place every year at the end of October in the settlement of Lechovo with events for the preparation and offering of traditional pies.

Potato festival: This festival takes place every year in the settlement of Sklithro, which produces the famous potatoes with their unique taste.

Lighting the "Boubouna": This celebration takes place every year in Lechovo, where a big bonfire is lit on the last Sunday of the Carnival. Various events also take place during the last three days of the Carnival at Xino Nero.

On June 23rd and 24th, the custom of the "Klidonas" is revived in Filota.

Celebration of the Assumption in Perikopi: The Community of Perikopi hosts a special fair, as it is an uninhabited village that burned to the ground during the Civil War. The traditional feast takes place among the few buildings that remain standing and the verdant surroundings.

In Agios Panteleimonas, the celebration honoring the local saint takes place on July 27th. On the eve of that day, the locals revive the “Kourbani” custom, which is unique in the prefecture of Florina.

On the 6th of January, the day of the Epiphany is celebrated with splendor in Agios Panteleimonas and in Limnochori, and on the 8th of the same month, the custom of "Babiden" or "Babo’s feast" takes place in Agios Panteleimonas.

The "Varikiotika" cultural events are hosted in Variko on the 13th15th of August.

Numerous local fairs and events take place in areas: the Prophet Elias is celebrated on July 20th in Lechovo, the Zoodochos Pigi in Fanos, the Archangels (Taxiarches) are celebrated on November 8th in Aetos, the Transfiguration of the Savior is celebrated with a festival on the 6th of August in Asprogeia, the Dormition of the Holy Mother is celebrated on the 15th of August in Limnohori and Nymfaio and Agia Paraskevi has its celebration on the 26th of July in Levaia and Filotas, while every summer the "Maniakeia" festival takes place in the Maniaki settlement of Amyntaio.
