Four community minded and enthusiastic Yr12 students have created the Knole Simple and Fresh meal kits. This project was launched during in lockdown, spurred on Marcus Rashford’s call for a continuation of free school meals and the student’s participation in the NCS programme.

Initially the students created the ready meals themselves which were then sold at cost to our local families. This then developed into a far more extensive project which not only offered ready meals but then meal kits containing fresh, healthy produce in sustainable packaging with recipe cards.

The weekly menu includes tarka daal, spaghetti bolognaise and chicken fajitas. Jag, Bilal, Henrijs and Gabriel have also created a marketing campaign, producing a video that was shared on social media channels.
