there’s a certain point at which we all start to dissolve, like sugar or cornstarch. 100 degrees Celsius, 212 degrees Fahrenheit, the moisture inside the skin will start to burn and cook itself. too long a look in the mirror, and the eyes and lips will do somewhat of the same. brief enough a glimpse in glass and if one thinks too hard about it, perhaps the reflection wasn’t all that familiar?
