Miss Smith Winner of a £1,500 Refund Miss Smith’s property was built in 2002 and her main reason for changing all of her windows was due to drastically losing heat. “The windows were fitted about two months ago and I have already noticed a considerable difference, particularly upstairs. Mrs Clouston Feature Home Refund Mrs Clouston’s home was not ideally positioned to allow much sunlight in her windows after some initial searching online she got in touch to work together on building her new conservatory. “The main reason I enquired about a new conservatory was due to my rooms always feeling so dark. The direction the house was built means that the sun doesn’t particularly come into the rooms at the right times. I also used to have a conservatory on my old home in Orkney and did miss the brightness and the view - of course I couldn’t do much more about the view but it was an easy decision to do something about the conservatory. Installation went very well. It was spread out more than we expected due to spells of particularly bad weather but I was well informed about the progress and always felt everything was in hand. Miss Adams wanted her conservatory to be something she could use as a room all year round, not just when the temperature was right. “I’m very pleased after having the conservatory roof and windows replaced. It was always too hot in the summer and too cold in the winter. The new roof will fix that and allow me to enjoy the conservatory in any weather. The way that the technology in the roofs has moved on is very impressive, to be able to have real looking tiles and a solid ceiling is fantastic and really looks the part. Not having to replace the current windows and frame for the conservatory was good because it kept the price manageable. I can already tell the difference in temperature, its early days yet but it feels more consistent throughout the day, even through this cold weather. There was a prerequisite - we wanted a dark shade foil on the outside and lighter shade on the inside. The other companies we spoke to were reputable companies but they couldn’t
