Tretin Cream During Pregnancy
Tretinoin cream (Tretin cream) has been classified by the US FDA as Pregnancy Category C. There are, however, no adequate and well-controlled studies in pregnant women. Tretinoin cream should be used during pregnancy only if the potential benefit justifies the potential risk to the fetus.
Thirty human cases of temporally associated congenital malformations have been reported during two decades of clinical use of Tretinoin cream.
