NINERS NEWS

We battled the cold and rain most of the season and wondered when it would end. I think we can now say: it’s finally behind us! Niners’ highlights included Play for Pink, raising $31,000, plus it was the best-ever silent auction, raising $9,600. Membership began with 98 members, and we're currently up to 107. The member/guest day was a big success, with 54 ladies attending dressed in their favorite baseball attire. Interclub was a wonderful addition to the Niners this season. The ladies had an opportunity to play different courses and meet new friends. Pinnacle Peak hosted it in April, and it was a lovely experience for the guests and our ladies who played.

Closing Day Luncheon was a beautiful day, with 37 ladies in attendance playing a scramble. I can’t thank our food and beverage staff enough for the delicious lunch and the beautiful dessert. Also, many thanks to the Golf Shop for all their hard work to make the Niners’ season such a success.
