“There’s no place like home.” Over 75 years ago, on her adventure through the Land of Oz, Dorothy – longing for “comforts” of the Kansas dust bowl – exclaims, “There’s no place like home.” Dorothy is not alone. After only a few short days on the road, vacationers and business professionals following their very own yellow brick road adventures for travel and work, can relate. In the past, hotels were the only option. As a result, visitors were often left craving for the amenities of home; a kitchen, a living room, and a bedroom – an overall experience more permanent than a box with a bed. Enter furnished suites. In recent years, furnished suites have gained significant popularity across Canada, providing a great alternative to conventional hotels. These ready-made homes, go beyond the bare necessities, and allow guests to move in without the hassle of buying furniture, kitchen supplies, and other amenities we often take for granted.

Brothers Tim and Wade Probe have established a reputation for providing comfortable, convenient and cost-effective accommodations for stays in the Queen City and surrounding areas – equally-suitable for annual residents and for overnight guests. Visitors are presented with contemporary décor and modern furniture in every suite. A little extra character and love goes a long way. “While hotels only offer the most basic of living requirements,” notes Tim, “our living spaces are truly a home away from home, complete with everyday comforts such as living and dining areas and outfitted kitchens, for the ultimate living experience.”

Business Class Industry study after industry study outlines the reasons why business travellers prefer furnished suites over conventional hotels. A recent report from Britain, for example, indicates that when presented with the option, 76 per cent of business travellers recommend furnished suites for stays longer than a week.
