about me

Born in Brazil in 1993, I came to Italy when I was only 2 years old, so I grew up with both cultures and learning both languages.

I fell in love with architecture during my teenage years when I chose to study at art high school and follow architecture course.

I recently graduated in architecture,

utopian vision of culture Brera art academy expansion in collaboration with Antonio Fabiano For this project, the compositional exercise was applied to the expansion of the Accademia di Belle Arti di Brera in the ex Scalo Ferroviario Farini in Milan. The project request involved the construction of a new school building that hosts classrooms-laboratories, classrooms for lectures, exhibition spaces and activities related to the art world, with the constraint of maintaining the existing structure. The architecture, therefore, starting from the utopian idea of Yona Friedman, “detaches” from the ground, rises, through a giant trilithic system in reinforced concrete, which sees vertical elements as stairwells and in the horizontal ones, consisting of huge beams veirendeel, exhibition and connection spaces. The succession of structural portals is used to hang the blocks containing the academy’s study and work spaces, while an open and suspended central walkway accentuates its permeability. The academy thus becomes an open laboratory, so the key words are accessibility and interconnection, visibility and communication, adaptability and temporality, research and experimentation, urbanity and anti-urbanity: an architecture that works like a “big machine” is born. The definition of the spaces is part of a large-scale typology that ensures their recognizability, clarity of layout and orientation, while the teaching places follow each other and define themselves as if they were equipment inside a device ready to receive them and make them possible.

healthy for everyone a new hospital center in Luanda in collaboration with Antonio Fabiano Our idea of Health City, which starts from the desire to find a symbiotic relationship with the context, is based on four macro activities: health, education, research and assistance. Flexibility of relationships between different functions (Headquarter, University, Hospital Center, Research Center, Resifential buildings) is the founding idea for the concept, which form allows permeability to nature and open spaces.

The building system is organized by longitudinal volumes that are placed orthogonally to a main axis. From the Railway Station, close to the main road which links the project area with the most advanced part of the city, it is possible to access the system, provided with a connection service through a monorail. The heart of the project is the Hospital Center. Based on Renzo Piano’s functional and distributive model, it is divided in three macro-functions: first aid, hospital block and hospital staying. The flows of patients, staff and visitors are also designed to avoid overlaps. The elevations, treated with concrete and brise-soleils in vertical African oak, are designed to ensure maximum natural light and shield solar rays during the hottest hours. A green hypogeal excavation, accessible from the hospital block and the central path, is designed to guarantee privacy and protection to hospitalized patients, whose rooms have been designed in double separable modules.

completing the district a new cultural center in Madrid in collaboration with Antonio Fabiano The project developes the theme of architectural completion for cultural activities and leisure time, with the reconfiguration of Plaza del Carmen in Madrid, a central city square with a multi-storey car park below. The new buildings resume the street alignments and relate in height to the context. The tower building, which presents commercial activities, study rooms, computer classrooms and a public library on the last two floors with an open central patio, has a sloping front due to the incidence of solar rays and the grafting of the new foundations with the existing structure below. The connection with the existing building behind is resolved with service block, elevators and two glazed stairwells. The low building, with an above ground and a hypogeal floor, used as theater and dance rooms, has an independent metal structure. The faรงades, covered in creammarfil marble, are designed to guarantee the maximum natural lighting and windows, realized in vertical modules, bordered with brown-rusted metal, are mimed from linear elements in the marble paving of the public square, characterized by trees, park benches and glazed skylights that illuminate the whole floor below, used for sports and commercial activities. The two car park access ramps on the lower floors are marginally positioned, integrated into the theater building, freeing the square and ensuring a continuity of the space.

temporary icon reuse of an abandoned area in collaboration with Andrea Abeni, Giulia Degiovanni, Isabella Riello The goal of this project is to offer e temporary use for an abbandoned area until a new use is assigned. The masterplan is divided in two big areas: North with the North Culture Pavilion and the Creativity Factory, South with South Culture Pavilion and the km0 fruit and vegetable market.

To guarantee the livabilty of the area, due to the impossibility of reclaiming it, the inclusion of a potted trees nursery has been planned; this type of vegetation lends itself an effective but temporary naturalization that can be reuse by planting the trees in the same area in the future or sold.

The design of the North Culture Pavilion sought a dialogue between the various project themes: urban reactivation, economic savings, energy optimization and temporality of the structure. The pavilion attempt to be Near Zero Energy Building.

The project is divided in a system of autonomous blocks, each one with different function, leaning against the central space of distribution that is closed but not heated. This solution allows to use the pavilion in different ways and times, depending on the needs.

All bloks have a sloped roof oriented along the North-South axis to guarantee the better sun exposure and optimize the perdformance of integrated photovoltaic panels.

house in Milanosesto project of residential buildings in collaboration with DBmLab Architects, Antonio Fabiano The competition expected the creation of a project proposal for a conventioned, multi-storey building, with commercial activities on the ground floor and underground parking, in the Ex Area Falk in S.S.Giovanni. The constructive elements and the ecological and innovative materials represent the beginning of the design process. The urban and landscape context suggested by the master plan and the relationships between the various functions allow the project to develop an idea of ​​habitation that binds old and new, tradition and modernity, developing visual and physical connections between spaces and functions, such as to generate an original social context. The project creates a real social sharing, where the green is no longer only an ornamental element, but a communicative and aggregative tool, reinterpreted in the exterior finishes of parapets and planters, supported by the naturalness of the covering wood and the vertical vegetation that climbs on the facades. The condominium spaces are no longer only interstitial spaces of connection but places of socialization and intergenerational exchange, while the diversification of housing proposals guarantees a wide fruition. The energetic and ecological aspect is also fundamental, with minimal environmental impact.

MuSes - Multisensory Spaces a re-functionalization for the former De Montel Stables in Milan thesis project in collaboration with Antonio Fabiano The aim of our research theme is to investigate the perception through the five senses, the multisensoriality that art and architecture can awaken, the knowledge of emotions for everyone.

Art, however, is it not for everyone? Why it has to be precluded to someone? If it was possible to feel it totally, in mimesis with its sounds, its colors, its moods, wouldn’t this become an important opportunity for inclusion? From all these ideas arises the needed for a place in which materializing culture and its sensorial perception, the creation of evocative and emotional spaces that have respect for art and for the past. Moreover, in the contemporary perspective of redevelopment, it is fundamental to identify the artistic validity of what already exists: this is the case of the former De Montel Stables in Milan, where the idea of re-functionalizing ​​ the building in a sensory museum is born, to a place of history and culture where the nullifications of architectural barriers make it accessible to everyone, in a chronological succession that traces the history of art in a unique technological expedient and 3D reproductions for a total and multisensory immersion. To complete the complex, four further pavilions - that host functions of eating, hearing and exhibitionare expected, whose sloping shape and open space spatiality recall the typology of the industrial buildings of the early 1900s.

Art, architecture, culture, inclusiveness, sensitivity, sensoriality: all of them are MULTISENSORY SPACES. All of them are MUSES.
