CLASSIC STAGE COMPANY

By TOM SCHULMAN Directed by JOHN DOYLE October 2016 At a rigorous all-boys preparatory school renowned for its ancient traditions, the unconventional Professor Keating inspires his students to defy conformity and to live passionately. Academy Award-winner TOM SCHULMAN adapts his own screenplay for this much-anticipated world premiere.

By PIERRE CORNEILLE Adapted by DAVID IVES Directed by MICHAEL KAHN January 2017 The charming Dorante cannot tell the truth and the manservant Clinton cannot tell a lie. CSC favorite DAVID IVES (The School for Lies, The Heir Apparent) takes on Pierre Corneille’s hilarious seventeenthcentury farce of mistaken identity and secrets.

FIRST LOOK FESTIVAL THE AMERICANS In a revamping of our popular reading series, this year’s First Look Festival will present four different American authors. This season will focus on early and lesser-known works by CLIFFORD ODETS, ARTHUR MILLER, EUGENE O’NEILL, and TENNESSEE WILLIAMS, exploring early twentieth-century drama and the birth of classic American plays by our country’s most distinguished writers.
