Gardening Section The Council’s Gardening Section continues to maintain very high standards in ensuring the attractiveness of our towns and villages in the County. The magnificent floral displays and attractive planting schemes as well as the support and assistance provided to the various Tidy Towns Committees has ensured that the County continues to build on its successes in the National Tidy Towns competition. Great success was achieved in 2018 with a number of Tidy Town wins throughout the County. The gardening section will be exploring ways of supporting communities in their efforts to enhance their local areas.
