FALL 2013

FROM THE HEADMASTER A Time Of Change The prior 2012-2013 school year should be remembered as a time of rapid forward steps into a bright new future for Clairbourn. While students were busy learning, preparations were underway all year long for reshaping staff positions, adding additional classes after school, planning for the next version of the Library building, enhancing campus security, and completely reshaping how the school communicates with its constituents.

ROBERT W. NAFIE, PH.D. HEADMASTER

In June, we experienced two retirements of long-term employees Lynda Beckstrom, who served most recently as the school’s development director, and Eleanor Powell, who served in the health and lost & found office. We also created a new position for former fifth grade teacher Jonathan Barner who is now an elementary grade science specialist and after-school administrator. Kyle Schaberg, formerly in the preschool, took over as the development and alumni director, and additionally, several other employees transitioned into appropriate new classroom positions. Along with these staffing changes, Clairbourn launched Before School Care for all grades at no charge. The school also introduced a new set of optional after-school classes for its students, which is organized and managed by Assistant Head of School Gloria Stahmer. These classes, conducted by outside vendors, conveniently take place on the Clairbourn campus, and they cover a wide range of activities like chess, Kung Fu, dance, language instruction (including Mandarin), academic help, and much more! Clairbourn’s Library was also assessed for how it can continue to anticipate and adapt to the rapid changes in technology, publishing, and research. Plans have already been drawn up for a building expansion to provide additional flexible meeting and teaching space designed for modern library usage. A fundraising campaign will follow in the near future to bring these plans to fruition. A great deal of energy was also spent last year in assessing and enhancing campus security. Informed by a panel of top industry experts, the school’s security committee has identified and put in place additional state-of-the-art security measures along with new procedures and training for staff. These combined elements are designed to be effective but still allow the campus to feel open and welcoming. Most noticeably, our school communications have changed, and some of these changes include spinning off our alumni updates into an up-to-the-moment news blog found at: http://tinyurl.com/cbalumni. There is also a new Headmaster Blog, Teacher Blog, and School News Blog under the Community tab on www.clairbourn.org. Up-to-the-minute school happenings and photos are now being posted on www.Facebook.com/Clairbourn instead of waiting to publish them in our magazine. And finally, the school has a new mobile app for iPhone and Android devices which acts as a handy gateway to all the information Clairbourn publishes including our family of websites and event calendars. See http://tinyurl.com/cbAppiPhone and http://tinyurl.com/cbappAndroid.

The purpose of Clairbourn School shall be to demonstrate in a practical way the unlimited nature of all true instruction through educational opportunities which are harmonious with the teachings of Christian Science and in accordance with accepted professional standards of educational excellence.

These changes are exciting, and they have already brought a great deal of forward movement to the school. I hope you’ll enjoy reading this magazine issue containing additional news of progress as well as updates on our graduates and our Annual Report for the previous 2012-2013 school year. We thank you for your continued interest in and support of Clairbourn!

Science Adventure:

CLAIRBOURN’S COMMERCIAL-GRADE WEATHER STATION Clairbourn’s outdoor spaces are now enhancing the depth of the school’s science program thanks to some recent donations by friend-of-theschool Betty Barker. It began with the addition of a new outdoor classroom space on the south side of the fourth and fifth grade buildings where raised gardening beds, a composting center, and student instructional seating were added. Then in September, Betty Barker provided additional funds to buy the school a commercialgrade Earth Networks weather station which was installed on the roof of the Multi-Purpose Building. This device, standing about 15 feet tall, includes

three different components that can measure a total of 27 weather conditions at once.

9, creating the ongoing potential to have Clairbourn’s weather data referenced on their shows.

The measurements are transmitted live over the Internet and are picked up by a network of 10,000 WeatherBug stations (the largest automated weather network in the world). The data feed is also instantly pulled into a webpage for Clairbourn’s classroom or home use (see http://tinyurl. com/cbweather), and is transmitted to a public display monitor in the Reception Office. This data is also made available to TV news programs, including local TV stations like KCAL

In the classroom, this system offers a wealth of options for utilizing the weather data. WeatherBug Achieve software gives students access to interactive tools enabling them to crunch the data, explore vivid graphics that depict and explain current conditions, dive into self-taught or teacher-facilitated lessons to understand the causes of weather, and to engage in hands-on activities. These elements all work together to build an understanding

Cameron Coolidge and Alex Su study the data generated by the weather station.

The equipment with the propeller at the top of the weather station is the wind sensor which records wind speed, gusts of wind, and the wind direction.

Receptionist Michelle Cogswell, in the front office, points out the digital display that shows the current weather conditions transmitted from Clairbourn’s weather station device.

Tucked inside a shelter that looks like stacked upside bowls, several weather sensors record a variety of weather parameters such as temperature, relative humidity, the heat index, barometric pressure, and much more.

WeatherBug Achieve software, integrated with the school’s weather data, provides interactive lessons to help students understand the forces behind weather conditions. 4

of meteorology and also reinforce and expand learning concepts in math, science, and geography. As the WeatherBug company explains, “Even the most complex mathematics and science concepts become easier to comprehend through advanced mapping and graphing features, including live/time-lapsed HD imagery.” Popular features of the software include a “Storm Tracker” with enhanced graphical depictions of how current, severe weather conditions are unfolding. The “Graphing Tools” feature in “WeatherBug Data” is handy for analysis and making predictions, plotting historical weather parameters, and charting weather conditions that change over time. The “Live and Time-Lapsed Images” feature is also used to watch and compare differing weather conditions across the country recorded from over 1,500 WeatherBug cameras within the network. A “Map Gallery”

tool lets students create color coded maps, categorize data, develop their understanding of geographic spatial relations, and integrate radar and satellite maps. For students who have a special enthusiasm for weather studies, there is now a fourth grade “Weather Club” at Clairbourn. They meet during their lunch hour to mine the WeatherBug software for pertinent data and then they organize their findings into an official report that covers the prior day’s weather and predicts what everyone can expect for the day ahead. They then present their report to the whole school on Tuesdays and Fridays at Chapel. Overall, the new weather equipment and associated software has proved to be enriching, fun, and above all empowering to students, and Clairbourn is grateful for the donation that made it possible.

Remembering the Journey EIGHTH GRADE GRADUATION SPEECHES (excerpts & highlights) provided me with the proper tools to move on with my life. The teachers are among some of the finest. Mrs. Taylor, the middle school English teacher (and also my Kindergarten teacher!), launched us into insightful conversations that made us think hard and consider our views and morals. Clairbourn is an institution for the mind, body, and spirit. SARAH MONTGOMERY Clairbourn has been my second home for ten years. When I think of Clairbourn, a lot comes to mind. I see white picket fences, greenery, sunshine, thousands of memories, and a gingko tree. I see smiling, happy kids, and an equally happy staff. Clairbourn raises children up to be great contributors to society. I am lucky to say that I am a Clairbourn Cougar. Clairbourn has given me the power to see beyond San Gabriel. We are so lucky to have chances to meet our favorite authors, take awesome field trips, and fly internationally. In Australia, I made lifelong friends and learned what it means to be independent. My grade has become my second family; I know we trust each other and truly act like siblings. Most importantly, Clairbourn has

A major trait I’ve learned from Clairbourn is to be brave. Bravery is simply overcoming all obstacles in order to reach the goal. Bravery is not about being fearless because, honestly, everybody has fears. On our seventh grade trip at Pali, one of the challenges was to do a “leap of faith.” Everyone was so scared, but the camp leaders got us to understand that fear shouldn’t be able to stop us from doing what we want. Another important lesson Clairbourn has taught me is what it means to be kind. All the teachers, especially

Mrs. Taylor, taught us that kindness is always to be expected. I was elected by my peers to be the Student Council vice president this year. In Student Council, we read a book called Wonder. The book is about a deformed child and about seeing people for who they are on the inside and about being kinder than necessary. Clairbourn has taught me that being kind is part of what makes someone a good person. I will take away so much from my experiences here. Without the guidance of the Clairbourn community, I do not know what kind of person I would be. The main idea that I will be taking away is that as a child of God I am loved and capable. Going to Clairbourn has made me who I am today. My memories and lessons are ones that I will live with for the rest of my life. Thank you Clairbourn and the Class of 2013 for making my time here the best it could be.

GRADUATION 2013 amazing grade.

LINUS JEN Clairbourn was a wonderful experience for me. Clairbourn was my second home. I had a great time getting to know everyone and loved almost every second I had at Clairbourn—although, maybe a little less homework would’ve been nice! I was not really into working hard until second grade when Mrs. Wreede rewarded us to try hard by letting us earn tickets. When I got to second grade, I was upset that I had more homework, but after learning about the ticketing system, I was so excited to do homework. I remember spending hours on end doing the extra math and getting large amounts of tickets after finishing it, which I then spent on a long-forgotten-now but oh-so-precious toy. I remember learning how to count to the hundreds, thousands, and millions, and starting to have an interest in math. One of my favorite second grade units was learning about the “unsinkable” Titanic. The best part was learning about the people on board, learning about the time period by listening to the music, and learning about the social classes. Second grade was an

8

CLAIRBOURN MAGAZINE • FALL 2013

Another exciting memory was the seventh grade trip to Pali. During the ropes course, I decided to do the tightrope, so I climbed to the top of a tree that had metal steps, and walked from one tree to the next on the thinnest wire I had ever seen. Luckily, there were two other wires on the left and right side of me that I used as rails to help me go across the tightrope. I am basically afraid of being up high and just climbing up the tree was a big challenge for me. In hindsight, the only reason I was able to get across the tightrope was because I was not able to see the ground without my contacts. I still don’t like being up high, but I’m glad I took on the challenge and faced my fear. One of my favorite classes is math where all the exciting activities happen. One of my favorite lessons was learning about quadratic regressions and parabolas, and this will totally be helpful in the future. Mrs. Lyzenga spent lots of time explaining

concepts and methods to solve algebraic problems. At Clairbourn, all the teachers make the classes fun. They are truly caring and remarkable. I am grateful for all the friends I made at Clairbourn, and how nicely everyone treats each other. I am grateful for the wonderful education Clairbourn has given me, and how much I learned. Lastly, I am grateful for all the opportunities Clairbourn has given to our class. Many of us traveled to different parts of the world because of Clairbourn. I know that I would not have gone to Australia if it weren’t for the ClairbournHuntingtower Exchange Program. I met many new people, and made new friends. Thank you Clairbourn for all you did. Clairbourn prepared me for the next step in my life. I will take away all the ethics that Clairbourn drilled into us. Class of 2013, thank you for a great 10 years at Clairbourn. I had an amazing time with you all.

GRADUATION 2013

MARISA DRAGOS Clairbourn is the only school I have ever known. I believe I started out at Clairbourn with an idea of the person I wanted to be. Now that it is finally time to leave, I realize that all of my experiences here have helped me to become that person— someone confident, competent, and independent. Though independence is a crucial attribute to success, one also needs to know how to balance it with teamwork. I have had some fun times working together with my classmates on everything from finding the gingerbread man in Kindergarten, to building contraptions for the

Engineering Design Challenge, to writing and performing skits for history and English classes in middle school. I believe teamwork is so important because a person can never accomplish a goal all by themself. Everyone brings their own perspective and flair to a task. The C.A.S.T. productions I have been a part of have also required teamwork. Last year’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream and this year’s Love’s Labour’s Lost were also a blast. Our third grade pioneer unit also gave us a chance to develop our own characters traveling the Oregon Trail. It was a fun way to combine history with our imaginations. Even though, a lot of times, it feels as if what we study in school will never be addressed in real life, the information becomes useful even in situations you would never dream of. Back in second grade, we had a whole unit on the rainforest. We studied the animals and even painted some in art class to decorate our classroom. I loved learning about all the endangered species. Though we had already had our service learning project for

the year, our Door of Hope Pocket Change Drive, a couple other kids in my class and I decided we wanted to do something to stop the people from cutting down all the rainforest. So we did. We started our own project, and ended up raising enough money to protect about one hundred acres of tropical rainforest. Even though I loved doing that, the whole idea of a rainforest seemed a bit surreal to me—like it was a made up land. Six years later, I seized the opportunity to travel to the Costa Rican rainforest with Clairbourn and now have seen all the creatures I studied in person. I discovered that sloths and toucans are a lot smaller than I had thought, and that howler monkeys are actually pretty loud. It was an amazing experience that led me on an adventure to a place very different from home. I believe the wonderful teachers at Clairbourn have taught us all very important lessons during our time here, about ourselves, those close to us, as well as the world we live in. In fact, every single person here has made my Clairbourn experience extraordinary. I have really made some special bonds here with people I shall not be forgetting soon, even if I will not be seeing them daily anymore. It is time to “step into the future” with “memories that will last forever.” Dr. Seuss once said, “You have brains in your head. You have feet in your shoes. You can steer yourself in any direction you choose. You’re on your own, and you know what you know. And you are the guy who’ll decide where to go.”

GRADUATION 2013

ALEX GRACE When I think of Clairbourn, I think of a place to learn, to grow, and to have fun. Clairbourn has always been a second home to me and I have lots of happy memories here. Today, I’ll have to leave my second home and all of its happy memories. But I am not afraid or sad, because I know that Clairbourn has prepared me well for what lies ahead. I can’t say that I remember a lot of specifics about my first day of Pre-K, but I do remember that when I first arrived at Clairbourn at 8:00 a.m., I had no friends. Within about five minutes, I had made friends for life. They were so welcoming and nice. I knew that when I found Clairbourn, I was here to stay. What I learned in that first year was to always welcome change with open arms. Obviously, I am grateful for the academic knowledge that I have received. Without Clairbourn I wouldn’t be able to recite my ABCs or do long division. Some other things at Clairbourn that I am grateful for receiving are the experiences that I had on my two trips abroad with Clairbourn. My first trip to Australia

10

CLAIRBOURN MAGAZINE • FALL 2013

was a wonderful opportunity to make friends from thousands of miles away. We got to sleep in other students’ homes and take a tour of what makes Australia famous. With every sight and every adventure we took, I became more and more grateful. In Costa Rica we had even more exciting expeditions. With all of the extreme activities like whitewater rafting and horseback riding up a volcano to swimming in a waterfall, I gained a new sense of curiosity. Sadly, this is my last year at Clairbourn but, I will be taking all of the skills and values that Clairbourn teaches. I will never forget the Chapel messages the first through eighth-graders shared every morning. When we do Chapel every day, the teachers are giving us not only spiritual values, but also public speaking skills. Without Chapel I probably wouldn’t be able to be giving this speech right now. I

remember in first grade, on my first day ever doing Chapel, I was so scared and nervous, but, with Ms. Brown’s advice to just go up there, read clearly, and try to make eye contact with the audience, I was able to get through my first public speaking appearance using a microphone. I know that I will use my public speaking skills throughout my entire life. Clairbourn is a special place for every student. Clairbourn gives us such a life-changing and fulfilling experience. And as I say goodbye to friends, I know that I can always look back and remember all of the late-night cramming sessions, all of the Spring Carnivals, and the endless lines for Hot Dog days. These memories I will cherish forever. To the administration, maintenance, teachers, students, and the Skewers people that gave me lunch every day—Thank you. Thank you for the best 10 years of my life.

AFTER-SCHOOL CLASSES NOW OFFERED AT CLAIRBOURN

To add value to its already fine educational offerings, Clairbourn rolled out a comprehensive after-school program in response to parent requests. By using outside specialist vendors that come on campus to teach subjects like KungFu, Mandarin Chinese, EduChess, Animal Adventures, and so much more, parents get the after-school enrichment they’re looking for, along with safety, convenience, and a variety of choices. The program, now in its second semester, is working out well. Most of the classes have waiting lists and vendors are enthusiastic about working with our students. Also, vendors are reporting very positive feedback about the quality of our students’ knowledge and behavior.

TAKE NOTE Clairbourn’s New Development & Alumni Director: Kyle Schaberg Many of Clairbourn’s faculty and staff are multi-faceted individuals and have rich lives filled with interesting projects and pursuits. For instance, did you know that ECD Director Karen Paciorek makes stained glass windows or that second grade teacher Denise Wreede teaches magic at the Magic Castle? Did you know that Dr. Nafie is a pilot? In similar fashion, there is a lot to know about Clairbourn’s new Development and Alumni Director Kyle Schaberg. Kyle hails from Michigan, has a degree in Mass Communications from Principia College, and moved out to L.A. in 2007 to work in the film industry. After interning at Warner Brothers and working at Dreamworks Animation, Kyle was scooped up by Clairbourn where he put his creativity to work in the classroom. Of special note were two short films he helped the preschoolers make with his movie-making know-how. Kyle operated the camera and added the special effects while the students came up with the story, wrote the dialogue, made the costumes and props, and did all the acting. Kyle is also co-owner of an online greeting card company, BlackSheepGreetings.com, he is a major superhero enthusiast, and an aspiring screenwriter. Just like Clark Kent with his alternate identity, Kyle is fundraising and friendraising with Clairbourn parents and alums by day, but, by night, he is hard at work at his typewriter working on screenplays, thinking up new greeting cards, or front and center at the theatre catching the latest action movie (for research, of course - wink!).

A Proud Tradition, Enriching our Children CLAIRBOURN SCHOOL ANNUAL FUND 2012 – 2013

THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES: ANNUAL REPORT In the By-Laws of Clairbourn School is a statement that says, “…the protection and preservation of our democratic form of government requires an alert, informed, and active citizenry, anchored in a love of country, and appreciation of heritage, and a deep respect for law.” Graduating our students with these attributes certainly enriches their future, the future of our country, and in turn the world. But the goals indicated in this statement cannot be reached without much dedication and hard work. The Trustees are so grateful to witness that dedication and hard work in our wonderful faculty and staff, and the strong support of our Clairbourn Families Association. In the past year, the Board has welcomed a new member, Dr. David Foltz. Speaking of dedication, both David Foltz and fellow Board member Joan Rimbenicks live in Big Bear and make that long drive to our meetings. Also, over this past year we have made use of current technology and have had members attend meetings from other parts of the country, and even the world, when not able to be physically present. In February, we attended the California Association of Independent Schools annual conference in Los Angeles. Workshops and talks on various aspects of independent schools help us keep updated on new developments, changes, and ideas. Most independent schools are experiencing changes, as we are, due to financial conditions and changes in demographics, and many adjustments have become necessary. In June, we reviewed the Annual Financial Report for Clairbourn for the past year with our auditor. We can all be appreciative that the school is in good financial condition, continues to be debt free, and has wise and prudent oversight. The Board is so grateful to witness that Clairbourn is in good hands all around. MARGARET BREAZEAL, PRESIDENT THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES

ANNUAL REPORT: HEAD OF SCHOOL Dear Clairbourn Community, As an active member of the Clairbourn School community, I am pleased to send you our 2012-13 Annual Report for the prior year. The success of our school has been the result of a heartfelt partnership of all our constituencies: current and past parents, teachers, students, trustees, alumni, administrators, and many others. True education is far greater than academics alone, and those schools which have endured for generations are those that inspire and lift the human spirit as well as the mind. Coming together as a fully engaged community of learners, we help our students to find the knowledge and wisdom they will need as well as to embrace the generosity of spirit that will lead them to use that knowledge successfully. Last spring, we launched another group of talented young people on their way toward their new high school adventures. We are proud of the achievements of the Class of 2013, and we have heard many other wonderful reports of progress in each of our grades. In keeping with our tradition, members of the Clairbourn Class of 2009 were on hand for our Awards Assembly in June, and it was thrilling to hear of their many high school achievements. The list of colleges and universities they will be attending was equally impressive. I am also pleased to report that in all major areas of operations, including faculty, finances, facilities, student achievement, governance, and parent activities, we have seen the continued growth of our school. Tuition assistance has once again increased this year, making a Clairbourn education available to many deserving students who would otherwise be unable to attend. Our Tuition Assistance Program is providing an important public benefit in our private school setting. Your generosity and that of others is making this opportunity possible. ANNUAL FUND: ANNUAL REPORT At Clairbourn we all share the same desire to give our students the best educational experience possible. While the positive atmosphere and nurturing environment are an innate part of the Clairbourn experience, certain enrichment programs are not possible without the support of the Annual Fund. As other schools, especially in the public sector, are downsizing and even eliminating music classes and theatrical productions, Clairbourn is able to maintain programs for the arts because of the Annual Fund. Guest speakers, field trips, and foreign language lessons are just a few of the items made possible through contributions to the Annual Fund. However, the Annual Fund is more than a yearly fundraiser. When you participate in the Annual Fund it is an active investment in the future of our school, your children, and Kyle Schaberg the leadership of generations to come. Participation in the Annual Fund expands our resources, our sense of community, and confidence in the education that Clairbourn provides. The benefits of your contribution are many and can be seen every day around campus. Clairbourn has been blessed over the years to have been able to provide a well-rounded, enriching education to all its students through its partnership with the Annual Fund. To see the ongoing success of the school is to see the additional programs and expanded resources that the Annual Fund brings to the table. KYLE SCHABERG DEVELOPMENT DIRECTOR

THE LIBRARY FUND: ANNUAL REPORT The Book Fair in October 2012 was rocking and rolling with great books, amazing authors, and fun activities. The theme of the book fair was “Reading Rocks,” and it did! Laura Unanue led the rock concert with her creative, innovative, and capable leadership. Sandy Myers, and a host of wonderful volunteers, assisted Laura to transform the Multi-Purpose Building into the center stage of a rock concert. We were thrilled to have Grammy Award winner Lisa Loeb give our students a concert based on her recently published children’s book of sing-along songs and a few of her well-known rock songs. In addition to the mid-week concert, authors Kathryn Otoshi, Rob Scotton, Tao Nyeu, Marissa Moss, Jordan Jacobs, and John Flanagan came to Clairbourn to share their craft with our students. Activities in “Reading Rocks” included our traditions of parents reading in the classrooms, Buddy Reading, and an Album Cover Poster Contest to go along with our theme. Students explored vintage vinyl record covers and then designed their own for a favorite book. All these activities supported the continuing development of our library collection and, most importantly, exposed our students to great literature and the love of reading. Through the proceeds of the book sales and through our “Library Wish List,” newly published books, technology subscriptions, author visits, classroom literary enrichment activities, and original artwork were all added to our library program. We are so blessed to have a well-supported library program through the generous support of our families. These resources benefit the entire school population from our preschoolers through our middle schoolers. Thank you to the many volunteers who gave countless hours in support of our students and reading. We are profoundly grateful. ANITA KNIGHT, LIBRARIAN

CFA PRESIDENTS: ANNUAL REPORT Dear Clairbourn Community, The Clairbourn Families Association has had another exciting and successful year! We started off by welcoming new Clairbourn families in the Spring of 2012 and followed up over the summer with personalized communication by individual Host Families. In September, we hosted a morning of grade-level Play Dates and a Parents’ Coffee Social, allowing new families and old friends to get together. October’s Fall Social was a fun-filled family day with games and activities for everyone—and it was a great, thematic tie-in to the Clairbourn “Reading Rocks” Book Fair too. For five days, the Book Fair “rocked” the MPB with hundreds of wonderful books! On a beautiful November morning, we headed to Brookside for the 24th Annual Cougar Classic Golf Tournament. December brought CFA’s philanthropic Holiday Giving program. The whole campus rallied to help make the holidays brighter for others in our community and then celebrated the season at the festive Sugar Plum Breakfast and Holiday Boutique. January featured CFA’s Distinguished Speaker Wendy Mogel. In April, CFA hosted the fabulous 16th Annual Benefit entitled “Hopes, Wishes, and Dreams”—the culmination of months of work by countless volunteers. In May, we had cause to “Celebrate Good Times” at the Spring Carnival featuring rides, games, food, and Dr. Nafie in the dunk tank! Finally, in June the CFA hosted its annual Staff Appreciation Lunch. Besides all of these annual events, the incredible parents of CFA operated Clairbourn’s Cougar Corner snack shop, sold thousands of dollars in scrip, held Used Uniform and Spiritwear sales, coordinated snacks and transportation for our sports teams, and served weekly meals at our Special Lunch Days. CFA also hosted monthly Parent Meetings to keep everyone apprised of events and activities and to provide a forum for informative guest speakers. Through these efforts, CFA accomplished its goals of serving our community and raising significant funds for our children’s school. It is our pleasure to report that the 2012-2013 CFA generated over $250,875 for Clairbourn School. The school directs approximately 87% of these funds towards covering Instructional Program expenses, 10% towards the Clairbourn Library (through the Book Fair’s Wish List), and approximately 3% towards our Holiday Giving philanthropy, the Foothill Unity Center. Thank you again for a wonderful year. We would also like to extend thanks to Dr. Nafie, the CFA Board, the Clairbourn Trustees, and Clairbourn’s teachers and staff for their constant support. It’s been an honor and a privilege to serve as your CFA Co-Presidents. With much gratitude, LIVIA ARYANADA, CYNTHY MOFFATT, AND BRENDA O’NEIL 2012-2013 CFA CO-PRESIDENTS
