The highest quality standards, worldwide. Le Mans in France, Chandigarh in India and Harsewinkel in Germany – just some of the eleven production sites worldwide where a new CLAAS machine rolls off the line every few minutes. At every site CLAAS have the same high expectations with regard to staff qualifications, assembly technology and, last but not least, the logistics and systems which enable the processes to run smoothly.

At the tractor factory in Le Mans, many production processes are automated and the individual stages dovetail perfectly. An extensive transport system carries components to the next assembly position with splitsecond precision.
The four-post test rig at the Testing Centre is extremely powerful, with 25-tonne thrust per hydraulic cylinder, a maximum frequency of 25 Hertz and a maximum height difference of 40 cm. Newly developed machines undergo full endurance testing on this test rig, which subjects them to strong vibrations to optimise the chassis or suspension, for example.
Just a few kilometres from the tractor factory, the Testing Centre trials new developments and continuously refines existing technologies. It can simulate the toughest operating conditions and demands. Every CLAAS tractor must be capable of withstanding these and must also pass a whole range of exhaustive practical tests.
On the driveline test rig at the Testing Centre, all CLAAS tractors undergo load testing with a maximum output of 500 kW per wheel and auxiliary drive. Ultra-modern technology is used to simulate a wide range of operational cycles. These test cycles have been collected and recorded on working farm machinery worldwide over many years.

THE RIGHT CHOICE IN ANY SITUATION
CIS. Simply good. The basic version of the tractor has mechanical spool valves and the CLAAS INFORMATION SYSTEM (CIS). The CIS colour display features outstanding control ergonomics in a compact design: all settings can be activated easily via a rotary/push switch and the ESC button. Two electronic spool valves for the front loader are available as an option in the CIS version and are operated via the ELECTROPILOT on the armrest.

CIS+. Simply more. CIS+ affords impressive ease of use and an intuitive design. Despite its pleasing simplicity, it has all the necessary functionality and the automatic functions needed for effective, effortless operation. CIS+ is also available with a continuously variable CMATIC or HEXASHIFT powershift transmission. The 7" CIS colour display built into the A-pillar combines display and setting options for the transmission, electronic spool valves, F buttons and CSM headland management.

CEBIS. Simply everything. With the HEXASHIFT or CMATIC transmission, the CEBIS version features electronic spool valves and the superb CEBIS terminal with a 12" touch display. As well as enhanced automatic functions such as CSM headland management and spool valve prioritisation, it also offers many other functions – CEBIS meets your every need. All settings can be entered in seconds thanks to touchscreen operation and logical menu navigation.

GPS PILOT uses a satellite signal to guide the machine securely and effortlessly in parallel lines. The system helps the operator to utilise the machine’s full working width and reduces overlapping, giving higher-quality work in a shorter time irrespective of light or weather conditions. GPS PILOT is operated from the S10 terminal or S7 terminal.

The SATCOR correction signal is transmitted by geostationary satellites and is available worldwide. Choose from SATCOR 5, with a signal accuracy of approximately 5cm, developed for precision work or SATCOR 15, which has an accuracy of 15 cm.

TURN IN.
AUTO TURN.
The TURN IN function makes it easier to line up on the headland. It quickly identifies the right track and steers into the new track more accurately than would be possible manually. TURN IN makes it possible to activate the steering system from an angle of 120° to the track and direction of travel.
With the AUTO TURN function the machine turns automatically at the headland, enabling you to line up with your selected track faster and more accurately, avoid overlaps and concentrate on the implement settings. The virtual headland line in the S10 makes AUTO TURN even more convenient.
