We, at CIUDAD WESTON NEWSPAPER take pride on being the only community Newspaper for the city of Weston since 2008. Consequently, and always following the lines of community service, we have decided to offer our readers this new section entitled:
THE CIUDAD WESTON NEWSPAPER ‘S CLIENT OF THE MONTH
A dentist with over 25 years of experience whose life is devoted to the dental health of her little patients and very much loved by Weston residents for her charismatic and loving personality, Dr. Yedda M. GomesRuane, DDS is originally from Brazil and she tells us about her passion for her profession. With a beautiful office at the Pediatric Dentistry for children opened since 1992, Dr. Yedda has dedicated her life to Pediatric Dentistry helping infants, children and teenagers with special needs. Thanks to her language skills in English, Spanish and Portuguese (her native tongue), Dr. Yedda has benefited from a large market of Hispanic and Brazilian children who speak little English. Pablo, 9, says he feels very happy to be able to communicate in his own language (Spanish) and receive a warm and patient treatment from Dr. Yedda that he never got from any other dentist. Dr. Yeda spends time paddleboarding at the gym and takes horseback riding classes on the week-ends. Her very active life helps her smile with ease and have a positive attitude which she shares when the ““show, tell and do” comes in for the treatment of her patients. And they know that surrounded by the friendly atmosphere of the office decorated with nature themes and fishes, they will not have a “bad day” at the Dentist. Una Dentista con más de 25 años de experiencia, ha entregado parte de su vida para el cuidado dental de sus pacientes más pequeños. Muy querida en la ciudad de Weston, por su trato carismático y amoroso, la Dra. Yedda M. Gomes-Ruane, DDS de origen brasileño, nos cuenta brevemente sobre la pasión que siente por su profesión como dentista. Con una bellísima instalación en el Pediatric Dentistry for Children, que funciona desde 1992 en Weston, la Dra. Yedda se ha dedicado como Dentista Pediátrico para infantes, niños y adolescentes y atiende a niños con necesidades especiales. Gracias a sus idiomas que domina bien como el Inglés, Español y Portugués, su idioma nativo, la Dra. Yedda se beneficia al poseer un mayor mercado de niños hispanos y brasileros que no hablan bien el inglés. Pablo, de 9 años, dice que se siente muy confiado al saber que puede expresarse en su idioma (español), y que cuenta con la paciencia y el cálido trato que le ofrece la Dra. Yedda, que antes no encontró en otros dentistas. La Dra. Yedda, dedica su tiempo a hacer kajaks, ir al Gimnasio y atender sus clases de equitación durante el fin de semana. Su constante actividad, la hace una persona sonriente y positiva a la hora de “Mostrar, decir y hacer” los tratamientos a sus pacientes quienes saben, que en medio de un ambiente decorado con motivos de peces y naturaleza, no la van a pasar “tan mal” el día del dentista.
