Views do not come much better than the extensive vista of open ocean that can be surveyed from the paddle court and lawned gardens of this charming wooden chalet, which occupies an elevated position on the slopes that rise up above the coast just south of Baiona.

The spacious grounds of las Marinas spread across three different levels. Below the house, steps lead down to the pool, which is surrounded by lawns and made private by the high conifer hedges that line two sides of the boundary. above here, the enclosed lawned garden that surrounds the house is fully fenced and gated on all sides, making this a perfect spot for children to play, whilst up above, stone steps lead the way to the paddle court, where the best viewpoint of the property is to be found. This racquet game is similar to tennis but played on a slightly smaller court and is becoming increasingly popular in Spain. inside, the accommodation is cosy and welcoming, with the soft hues of its wooden structure being perfectly complemented by warm coloured upholstery. it is, however, the lovely covered veranda that lines the front of the building that is likely to become the most favoured spot. With its cushioned sofas, view across the garden, and the sea just visible beyond, this simply invites guests to sit back and relax.

a scenic drive of just 6km along the coast from the house brings you to the nearest sandy beaches, which are those that fringe the elegant seaside town of Baiona. The ancient narrow streets and formal squares of this attractive resort are also home to an impressive selection of restaurants, although should you prefer to stay closer to home, the nearest restaurant is just 500m from the house.
