VFX Producer VFX Producers manage the whole process of creating the VFX for film or TV. VFX producers write the bid; the document through which they persuade the Film or TV Series’ Producer to take their VFX studio on to do VFX work on a project. VFX Producers put together the team of VFX artists and other technical staff. They set the schedules for the work and they manage the budget. While filming is happening, VFX Producers work closely with the live-action production crew. They also work with the Editor in post-production. They communicate between the crew and Editor.

T Levels New for September 2021! T Levels are new, high-quality technical qualifications that combine real work experience with learning at college to take your future to the next level. Developed with employers, they will give you a head start in developing the job-specific skills and knowledge you’ll need to progress to your dream career! What are T Levels?
Who are T Levels for?
T Levels are a new qualification designed to give you a head start towards the future you want. They follow GCSEs and are equivalent to 3 A-Levels. You will have the opportunity to take part in an industry placement, which is relevant to your course and future career ambitions.
T Levels are the perfect route for post-GCSE students who know what job they want to do and feel ready for the world of work. You can commit to an intensive course and substantial industry placement to develop the skills and knowledge employers are looking for.
What is an industry placement? As part of your T Level you will take part in a substantial industry placement with an employer, to develop your practical and technical skills for an occupation or career.
Can T Levels take me to university? Yes, they can! Although T Levels will prepare students to move into a skilled job, they can also lead to Higher Apprenticeships, higher technical qualifications or a degree. You will gain a high-quality, nationally recognised technical qualification (the equivalent to 3 A-Levels) and UCAS tariff points to help you progress to university.
102
What is different about T Levels? Studying a T Level will give you the opportunity to continue your studies and get a much broader idea of what it’s like to work in a certain sector, with the opportunity to specialise later. Around 80% of the course will be spent in the classroom with the remaining 20% being spent on an industry placement. This is different to Apprenticeships, which are paid, work-based training for those who know what occupation they want to pursue.
What courses are on offer? Sunderland College is offering T Levels in the following from September 2021: Building Services Engineering Design, Surveying and Planning Digital Production, Design and Development Health (Supporting adult nurse)
