When New Yorker magazine featured a cover image of four female surgeons from a patient’s point of view, reallife surgeons from across the world replicated the image in what became a viral social media campaign. The UC Center for Integrative Health and Wellness holds medicine and mindful living retreats for students in the health care professions at the University of Cincinnati. At nearby Turner Farm, the health care providers of tomorrow learn holistic approaches to the foundations of disease, nutrition and lifestyle didactic.
