How To Become A Vendor... Business License Any vendor doing business within Sumter City limits is required to have a current City of Sumter Business License (www.sumtersc.gov/businesslicense).

Permits, Licenses, & Certificates All vendors are required to have the necessary permits, licenses, and certificates specific to the project. Specific type(s) and amount(s) will be displayed within the project documents listed on our website and contractual agreements between the City and the primary vendor.

Registration Fill out the Vendor Registration form on the City’s website to be placed in our database.

W-9 Attach your IRS Form W-9 with your registration form.

Check email The city will email vendors when an opportunity becomes available (the same opportunities will be listed on City’s website too).
