DIRECTOR’S MESSAGE

Wow! Is 2024 going to be a year to remember for sure! There’s a common statement that says “out with the old, in with the new.” Well think about this program guide as more like “keeping the old, and adding in all the new!” All your usual favorites will be back again this year, like the Aquatic Center, summer camp, sports leagues and tournaments, festivals, parades, and egg hunts. So what’s new? I’m glad you asked! The “Total Eclipse of the Parks” events will truly be a once in a lifetime experience for this community. It’s going to be a weekend you don’t want to miss! See page 7 for details!

We also have the pleasure of hosting the Great Ohio Bicycle Adventure again this summer, Doughnut Quest-style! GOBA will be in town June 17-19 and camping on the TRI grounds during that time, while also exploring the city on their bikes, up to 1200 of them!

Serving the greater Oxford community is the main objective behind everything we do here at OPRD. That comes in many forms, from preschool to community festivals to sports. Ever have an idea for something new, let us know at OPRD@cityofoxford.org. As always, stay active and stay healthy!
