Street Trade Days
Main Street Trade Days takes place the first Saturday of every month from 10 AM – 2 PM in downtown La Porte! Enjoy a day out with friends while browsing antiques, collectibles, re-purposed furniture, artisan vendors, and growers! Also, enjoy the many eclectic shops and eateries along Main Street!

Join us the First Friday of every month at Five Points for a small-town Friday night event These events feature live music, specials down Main Street, food, drinks, and more! Frist Fridays are held AprilOctober from 6-9 PM!
4th Of July
Celebrate Independence Day in La Porte!
Start your day with the parade at 10 AM down Broadway and end it with Fireworks at Sylvan Beach at 9:15 PM.
Movies In The Park
In celebration of National Parks and Recreation Month, our Parks and Rec Department is hosting 2 free movie nights! Jaws is showing at the Wave Pool at 8 PM and The Sandlot is showing at Deotis Gay Field on July 14th at 8 PM.
City University
City U is a great opportunity to learn more about the inner workings of your City! Visit 10 City of La Porte departments with informative presentations and light dinners included! Classes are open to adults 18 and up. For dates and registration information visit LaPorteTX.gov/Register.
