Building Permits for projects less than 250 sq/ft (fence, patio, etc.): $10.00

Building Permits for projects greater than 250 sq/ft (new house, barn, etc): $2500 + $039/ sq/ft.

Trade Permits (Electrical, Mechanical, Plumbing): $10.00

Re-Inspection Fee (charged when an inspection fails): $10.00

Additional Fees for New Houses:

Parkland Zone Fee: $80800 (used to enhance the park systems)

Water Tap Fee: $388.00 – $2400.00 (depending on size of tap/meter requested)

Sewer Tap Fee: $29000 (4” only, for residential properties)

Residential Sewer Connection Fee: $10.00 (to connect)

Driveway Tie-In Fee: $10000 (for Public Works to install the driveway tie-in)

Typically, contractors will include these fees in their quotes. When reviewing quotes please ensure you are not being overcharged for the fees.
