Message from the Mayor I am pleased to present the City’s Annual Report for 2020/2021. The financial year was focused on delivering a budget that reflected the challenging economic and social circumstances which occurred because of the COVID-19 Pandemic. The City commenced the financial year waiving a number of fees and charges, in an effort to lessen the local impact for residents and business. We also had a strong focus on economic stimulus and supporting the local economy. To this end the City successfully completed a number of significant capital works projects including the much-loved new dog exercise park at Elmore Way in High Wycombe, the Kalamunda Community Centre, a series of female change room projects at various sporting reserves and improvements at the Walliston Transfer Station, which will be completed next financial year. We also saw a number of key park upgrades at Lincoln Reserve in Forrestfield and Meloway Drive in Maida Vale.
