Twelve Mayors from Henry, DeKalb, and Clayton County make up the District 9 committee as outlined by the ATL Transit Link Legislation. The inaugural meeting of the District 9 committee was held in Stockbridge, the geographical center of District 9 with Stockbridge Mayor Anthony Ford presiding. The new 13 county ATL Transit Link System will replace MARTA as the regional transit coordinating arm for the region.
