Fall Oak Hollow Open: Ryder Cup Edition (Ages 16+)

Celebrating its tenth year, this event is a two-person captain's choice, 36-hole tournament that will be flighted after the first round. Open to the first 60 teams, the 8 a.m. "shotgun start" for both Saturday and Sunday rounds gives golfers a chance to get a round in before watching football games in the afternoon! Seniors (ages 55+) will play from the white tees. This event will also include a Par 3 Challenge: closest to the pin on all par threes on both days. Please note that the entry fee will go towards gift certificates and prizes and does not include green fee or cart fee. Over $6,000 in prizes and gift certificates will be awarded! Oak Hollow Golf Course Saturday & Sunday, September 18-19, 8 a.m. - 2:30 p.m. $100 per team

Fall Leaf Tours

Enjoy a long-standing High Point tradition on this annual guided tour, which takes park visitors around High Point City Lake on our excursion boat. During the 45-minute tour, participants learn about the seasonal changes and wildlife in and around the lake from Piedmont Environmental Center staff Naturalist Dick Thomas. Dick's entertaining and informative commentary, combined with amazing photographic opportunities, make this offering a seasonal favorite. Reservations will be accepted beginning Monday, September 27. High Point City Lake Park Friday - Sunday, October 22 - November 7 $4 per person, $3 for seniors

Fall Leaf Kayak Tour (Ages 16+)

Enjoy a guided kayak tour of the lovely Arnold J. Koonce, Jr. City Lake during its most scenic season. On our tour, we will see an abundance of beautiful seasonal colors with the changing of the leaves; we may even see some wildlife! Registration begins October 1. High Point City Lake Park Saturday, October 30, 10 a.m. - noon $6 with personal kayak, $15 with single kayak rental $22 with tandem kayak rental

Here's a chance for the sneaker community to buy, sell and trade some of the most sought-after pairs out there! We'll showcase the Triad's largest collectors and resellers of sneakers, streetwear and art.
