The Theologian's Cafe You don't need to be a theologian or even a church (or temple or mosque or meeting house) goer to participate, you only need to have an interest in the subject. Air your views and listen to those of others on religious, spiritual, and related topics. Participants from all religious affiliations (and those without one) are welcome to this non-denominational Café. The moderator for the program is John Slattery. He has degrees in Physics, Philosophy, Education, and a diploma in Theological Studies. And for all or any of these, what makes them 'sacred' anyway? 582529 M Feb 20 1 – 3 p.m. FREE ISIS & the Koran A fierce debate is raging among Muslims and non-Muslims alike over the extent that followers of ISIS do or do not follow the Koran and the hadith. Let's see if we can shed some light on this. And as a reminder of the fact that the Old and New Testaments also have some awkward passages, check out Leviticus 25:44-46 and Paul's Epistle to the Ephesians 6:5-9. 582527 M Mar 20 1 – 3 p.m. FREE
