Dry land drop-in classes Drop-in classes are open to individuals age 13 and up. Youth ages 13 to 15 must be accompanied by an adult in the class. Drop-in fitness classes are open to all ability levels and can provide a fun and challenging way to meet your fitness goals. Please see in house flyers or visit genesisplace.ca for current schedules

Absession

Building a strong core requires more than crunches! This class will teach you a variety of exercises you can do to build a strong, lean core.

Barbell Blast

(Only 19 spots available – wristband from Customer Service is required and available one half hour prior to start of class) Redefine your body in this resistance

training based class while using our barbell system. Burn fat, gain strength and build lean muscle in a fun but challenging environment.

Bench Worx

Come take your fitness to a new level in this intense full body workout. Using the bench to boost your cardio as well as train your muscles to become the ultimate machine. All fitness levels welcome.

Body blast

Strengthen and tone every muscle group in this energizing class. Challenge yourself with interval cardio components as well as strength and endurance exercises. Come join the fun!

A creative, high intensity boot camp style class! Never the same workout twice. Don’t let the name scare you – all levels and abilities are welcome.

Butts & guts

This class is the ultimate midsection toner. Exercises concentrate on hips, thighs and abdominal muscles.

Gentle body flow

This drop-in class is designed for individuals of all levels. It uses a series of gentle stretching poses, breath awareness and relaxation. No experience required.

Hatha yoga

This class is suited to all levels and is designed to help improve flexibility, strength and balance through gentle yoga poses and breath awareness.

HIIT- high intensity interval training

This class will provide you with a high intensity cardiovascular and strength training workout that is sure to burn fat and calories and add some metabolism raising muscle to your body. Class is multi-leveled and can be adapted for the beginner or advanced exerciser. Each class is different and will provide you with a fun yet intense workout in a supportive environment.

Ignite

Ignite will burn calories and set your metabolism on fire. This workout is a high intensity, full body workout that will challenge your cardiovascular endurance, anaerobic capacity, physical power and strength through a variety of metabolic and high intensity intervals and power moves. Get ready to ignite your metabolism and burn fat!
