Garbage & organics collection Curbside pickup ■■ Two unit limit ■■ All items must be bagged ■■ Extra bags require a $3 tag • (maximum 3 tagged bags weekly) ■■ Purchase tags from: • Airdrie Public Library • City Hall • Co-op • Eastside Recycle Depot • Genesis Place • Shoppers Drug Mart locations ■■ Container size • Bags that hold 660 mm x 914 mm (26” x 36”) • A garbage can that holds 70 – 100L • Weighs less than 34 kg (75 lbs) ■■ Organics • Bi-weekly pickup for green organics bin November 1 – April 30 • Ensure one metre of clearance around the cart to allow the automated truck to pick up the cart safely • Place your green cart where you normally place your gabage (front street or back alley pick up) • Ensure the front faces out • Ensure the lid can close
Schedule Garbage and green organic carts must be out by 7 a.m. for pick-up! Check website for collection calendar Condominium complexes and apartments are not charged for residential collection; therefore, they are not eligible for door to door pick up.
