THE LEVIEV HAMPTONS AFFAIR Leviev hosted its ‘Brilliance in Bloom’ luncheon this past June, an elegant gathering where haute jewelry met high society WRITTEN BY MARC CASTALDO
gainst the backdrop of manicured gardens and quiet opulence, at the Southampton, N.Y., estate of Lauren Day Roberts and Bob Roberts, the invitation-only event drew a crowd of art patrons, philanthropists and boldface names including Candace Bushnell and Jean Shafiroff. Guests previewed Leviev’s latest natural diamond creations — brilliant showcases of craftsmanship — while sipping rosé and savouring light summer fare. Ballet dancers Mary Thomas MacKinnon and Nieve Corrigan added a poetic layer to the afternoon, performing in Leviev diamonds as rare automobiles from Ryan Friedman Motor Cars glinted nearby. But the day wasn’t just about beauty — it was about purpose. Chagit Leviev Sofiev and Greg Sofiev were recognized with a Proclamation of Service by New York State Assembly Member Rebecca Seawright, honouring their philanthropic commitment. Proceeds from the event supported the Southampton Arts Center, with honorees Simone Levinson and J. Whitney Stevens spotlighted for their cultural contributions. With its latest campaign and continued investment in community and craft, Leviev is establishing its renaissance on American soil — not just as a jeweller of distinction, but also as a patron of art, beauty and enduring values. leviev.com @levievdiamonds
