r s . Sharon Content i s the Founder and President of Children of Promise, NYC (CPNYC). CPNYC is a Brooklyn-based nonprofit focused on embracing children of incarcerated parents and empowering them to break the cycle of intergenerational involvement in the criminal justice system. With Content’s programmatic ingenuity and entrepreneurial leadership, CPNYC successfully combines traditional youth development activities with one-to-one mentoring and mental health enhancements to engage young people and families affected by incarceration. Prior to establishing CPNYC in 2009, Content enjoyed thriving careers in the Finance Industry and in nonprofits addressing social impacts of youth residing in high crime and low-income communities. Since its inception, CPNYC has served over 1,000 children impacted by parental incarceration. Content is a native New Yorker, respected alumni of Howard University, and currently lives with her two daughters and husband of 20 years in Bergen County, NJ.

ewis B. Cullman had a successful business career starting with the first leveraged buyout in the United States and ending with the sale of At- A -Glance Calendars in 1999. Subsequently, he devoted his efforts to philanthropy concentrating in the Arts and Sciences in New York City. He is the recipient of the Mayor ’s Award for Arts and Culture. He was declared a New York Living Landmark together with his present wife Louise Hirschfeld. They remain committed to the Arts, Theater and Public Television.
