CITY PROJECT UPDATES
Beach Court
(Florida Avenue to Delaware Avenue)
The contractor recently completed paving operations and will commence addressing punch list items for final project completion.
Avenue B (13th Street to 8th Street)
Work continues to prepare the subgrade of the roadway and installing drainage at the intersections. The contractor has been installing the conduit for the underground utilities. Over the next few weeks, curb will be installed and drainage installation will continue.
2023 Annual Resurfacing Contract
Staff has been made aware that the Vero Beach Resurfacing Contract, which the City has “piggybacked” for this work, has expired. Staff is working on developing an Annual Resurfacing Contract for Purchasing and Legal review in preparation of the 2023
Resurfacing Contract. Additionally, staff has presented the list of candidate resurfacing projects to FPUA for coordination. Once we have received their comments, a contract can be issued for construction. The selected streets are:
