Our rich heritage spans over 53 years. My father, Mr Anton Bahar, began as a jewellery manufacturer and very quickly became synonymous in Australia for the finest quality jewellery coupled with exceptional value and service. My brother Sevan and I now manage the Anton business, which is home to a collection of Australia’s most exceptional jewellery and rare watch collections. How important is the family aspect to the business? 家庭对于生意有多重要？
We are a family owned and operated business, and we make decisions and set goals as a family. This is the way our company has grown. We are also very hands on, from the designing, to the buying, to servicing our clients. This is what makes Anton unique. We give our clients the whole experience and share the magic we create. What is it that draws you to jewellery? When did you get involved in the brand?

There is a message of empowerment in jewellery. I feel confident and strong when I’m wearing jewellery, and I think this can be said for both women and men. I feel each piece means something and generally holds some personal sentiment to the person wearing it.
I was born into the business, and as a child I watched my dad work countless hours designing and manufacturing jewellery. I then saw my brother follow his lead. They were so passionate and determined together. I realised from a very young age that I wanted to be a part of the magic, and my love for jewellery grew from there. 我从出生就开始接触家族生意。小时候，我看 到父亲一连好几个小时专注地设计和制作珠 宝，后来我看到哥哥追随父亲的脚步，开始设 计、采购和挑选钻石和宝石。他们一起工作的 时候是那么地充满激情和执着。于是我从很小 的年纪就知道，我希望加入这个充满魔力的事 业，我对珠宝的热爱从那时候就开始了。

My dad is an entrepreneur and his words to me growing up were, “If you put your mind to it, work hard at it, you can do it.” This motto continues to take our family business from strength to strength.
