Larry L. King (1929-2012) Playwright Larry L. King played a major role in Circle Theatre’s growth. We loved rediscovering Texas and Texans through his “salty” observations. A telephone call or brief chat with him was every bit as entertaining as his books, essays, and plays. I was proud and honored when Larry accepted our invitation to be an advisory board member at Circle Theatre, especially since producing his plays clearly represented our dedication to contemporary works about Texas or written by Texans. Larry, you old devil, we will really miss you! - Rose Pearson

The fruit is layered and baked until the batter puffs up, much like a quiche. Traditionally, the recipe calls for sprinkling the baked clafouti with powdered sugar.
