Generative Sheet Metal Design Workbench

The Sheet Metal Parameters Definition dialog box opens (Figure 6.5). This dialog box allows you to set different sheet metal parameters, such as sheet metal thickness and default bend radius, for the sheet metal walls. You can either use the default values for these parameters or specify new values. In our case, we are using the default values for the sheet metal parameters. 6. Click the OK button to close the Sheet Metal Parameters Definition dialog box, as shown in Figure 6.5:

A node with the name Sheet Metal Parameters.1 is added to the specification tree (Figure 6.6). Now, you need to draw the sketch of the base wall using the Sketcher workbench. You can invoke the Sketcher workbench by first clicking the Sketch button on the Sketcher toolbar and then selecting a sketching plane in the specification tree. 7. Click the Sketch button on the Sketcher toolbar (Figure 6.6). 8. Select the xy-plane option from the specification tree, as shown in Figure 6.6:
