“For the past three years, I’ve been illustrating poetic themes ranging from bohemian to rock’n’roll. Highlighting essential lines and shapes for a minimalist, elegant result is my signature.”

Frances has been exhibiting her artwork globally for forty years. She holds a Bachelor of Arts and Master of Arts, which she pursued between 1983 and 1991. Living in the UK, Italy, and Japan and traveling abroad enriched her artistic skills and fueled her extensive collection.

Her father, George Luke, a sculptor and artist from Melbourne, had a profound influence on her early artistic development. While attending life drawing classes since the age of 11, Frances primarily focused on figurative work. However, in recent years, her inspiration stems from the honeycombed cliffs, ocean, rivers, and mangroves surrounding her home. Sadly, this inspiration faces constant threats, particularly concerning the preservation of native fauna and flora.
