Yoo Choong Yeul’s artistic style predominantly revolves around realism, and he is particularly acclaimed for his expertise in creating classic portraits. His ability to capture the essence and intricacies of his subjects has contributed to his esteemed reputation as a talented artist.

Throughout his artistic journey, Yoo Choong Yeul has left an indelible mark on the Korean art community, showcasing his mastery of the craft and a deep commitment to his artistic vision.

Since entering the art world in 1981, Yoo Choong Yeul has established himself as one of the top Korean painters. His artistic style is predominantly rooted in realism, with a particular emphasis on creating timeless and captivating classic portraits. From the outset of his career, Yoo Choong Yeul aspired to be recognized as one of the world’s most esteemed painters.

In 1985, his painting “Sea Captain” achieved great acclaim and was featured in the renowned “Decor” magazine in 1988. His artwork graced the cover of the prestigious English artbook “Art in Vogue” in 2010 and was also featured on the cover of publications by Morningside Publishing, Ekidsland Publishing, LLC in the United States in 2012. With 57 of his paintings listed for copyright in America and several others registered with Korea’s Patent Office for design work, Yoo Choong Yeul’s artistic contributions have garnered international attention. His work was showcased in the book “EFFETTO ARTE”, Italy and has been exhibited on numerous occasions. He was awarded the prestigious title of “Best Artist of 2016” by the Costanza Foundation His international exhibitions have taken place in countries such as Portugal, Netherlands, Turkey, Iran, Macedonia, and Germany. In 2015 and 2016, he played a leading role in organizing a large-scale international exhibit at the “Haegeumgang Theme Museum” in Geuje, which brought together 110 artists from 25 different countries. Furthermore, in 2016, he designed a Hollywood movie poster titled “I Am Someone,” showcasing his versatility as an artist.

Bruce Cowell’s portfolio predominantly consists of authentic “found” images, capturing real-life moments rather than staged or manufactured scenes. In 2023, Bruce was honored with an Artistic Excellence award at CFA’s Artist of the Year Award and was featured in SpotlightContemporary Art Magazine. In March and April 2020, he participated in a collective exhibition at the Marziart Internationale Gallery in Hamburg, Germany. During the same period, he was also featured again in Spotlight magazine and achieved Finalist status in the online art competition hosted by Circle-Arts.com for ArtExpo New York. His photography is presented as a featured artist on the website, solidifying his reputation in the art community.

In 2020, Bruce Cowell exhibited his artwork at the WWA Pavilion in New York, providing him with an opportunity to showcase his creativity to a wider audience. His achievements have been recognized in various prestigious publications, including “Who’s Who in Visual Art” published in Leipzig, Germany, and the German publication “International Kunst Heute” (International Art Today). Additionally, his work has been included in the WeContemporary Art Catalogue published by Musa International Art Space in Palermo, Italy. His artwork has been exhibited at the Blank Wall gallery in Athens, Greece.

Bruce Cowell’s talent has earned him significant accolades. He was awarded second prize in the Artrom Gallery’s “Consequences of Light” photographic competition in Rome, Italy, as well as second prize in the renowned Hasselblad Masters of Photography Competition. Furthermore, his captivating image titled “Beth Plays the Clowns” received an Honorable Mention at the Circle Foundation Artist of the Year Award 2019 held in Lyon, France, further underscoring his artistic prowess.
