STANISLAV (STANDA) RIHA

Stanislav Riha is a CzechoCanadian artist whose creations are deeply influenced by life’s dilemmas, emotions, and adaptations. His captivating works have found their place in private collections spanning the USA, Canada, France, Portugal, the Netherlands, UK, Japan, Austria, Italy, and Czechia. Additionally, his art embellishes the walls and glass of numerous renowned resorts worldwide.

With nine solo exhibitions and participation in over thirty group exhibitions, Stanislav Riha has established himself as an accomplished artist. His talent has been recognized through publications in art books and magazines, totaling five features.

Drawing inspiration from influential artists such as Hieronymus Bosch, Picasso, Dali, Wright, and Gehry, Stanislav Riha’s artistic journey has been shaped by a diverse range of creative voices.

Stanislav Riha’s artistic education includes attending the Open School of Painting and Drawing from 1961 to 1964. He further honed his skills through private studies of applied art and design from 1967 to 1969. Additionally, he pursued classical hand drawing and architectural design under the guidance of MgA Milos Saska in Prague, Czechia, from 1979 to 1981.
