Incoming Partners Represent Next Generation of Ownership

Marie Foley

PQS, LEED AP, MRICS • Director, Infrastructure Advisory

Marie has over 20 years of industry experience and joined BTY’s Toronto offi ce in 2015. She leads the fi rm’s Infrastructure Advisory Services with an integrated team of construction fi nance, technical advisory and energy experts. As a senior leader, Marie is also responsible for business development, client management and advising on growth strategy for BTY’s expansion in Eastern Canada, the United States, and Europe. She led the standardization of BTY’s award-winning technical reporting across multiple markets and is recognized as an industry leader in infrastructure advisory. She is a member of the Canadian Institute of Quantity Surveyors (CIQS), and the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS). She also serves on the steering committee for Women’s Infrastructure Network Toronto (WIN), and as a Board Member for the Canadian Council for Public-Private Partnerships.

Michael Gabert

PQS(F), MRICS, GSC • Director, Cost Management Services

Michael joined BTY in 2011 and has more than 13 years of industry experience. He is based in Calgary and leads the fi rm’s Cost Management Services. Since joining the fi rm, Michael has led BTY’s expansion and growing team across the Canadian Prairies region in all services and supported key mandates in the United States. He is the former President of CIQS Prairies & NWT. Michael was also awarded a Fellowship (PQS(F)) by the CIQS in 2019 for his extensive involvement in developing the CIQS’ strategic growth plan and modernizing the organization’s mandate and programming for the industry.

Louis Guilbeault

Director, Project Management

Louis joined BTY in 2015 and is based in the fi rm’s Ottawa offi ce. He brings over 26 years of industry experience in all facets of the capital project lifecycle. Since joining the fi rm, Louis has established Project Management as a core BTY service offering. He leads a growing and diverse team of planning and construction experts across Canada and the United States, delivering end to end solutions on major capital projects in the healthcare, education, energy and real estate sectors.

Saira Muzaffar

Director, Marketing & Communications

Saira joined the fi rm’s Toronto offi ce in 2009 and has 13 years of experience as a senior marketing and business development professional. She leads BTY’s global team, strengthening the fi rm’s brand across North American and European markets. Saira is responsible for corporate development, strategic growth planning, executive marketing initiatives, corporate communications, and pursuits. Saira is a member of the steering committees for the Women’s Infrastructure Network (WIN) Toronto, and the Women’s Leadership Initiative with the Urban Land Institute (Toronto), and chairs the board for TechGirls Canada, a research and advocacy non-profi t working to advance women’s roles in STEM fi elds.

Rob Wilson

FRICS, PQS • Director, Project Monitoring & Lender Services

Rob has more than 13 years of experience advising on construction fi nance and asset management in North America, the Caribbean, Europe, and Oceania. He leads the fi rm’s Project Monitoring & Lender Services team. Since joining BTY’s Vancouver headquarters in 2014, Rob has risen swiftly into senior leadership providing client management, business development, staff management and implementation of strategic growth initiatives, in addition to service delivery. Elected as a member of the RICS Governing Council in 2018, Rob was awarded a Fellowship (FRICS) in 2020 for his services to the organization.
