Rana is the general of the army of the kingdom of Kalingapuri. His all round skills as a warrior puts the kingdom of Kalingapuri at an advantage against the kingdom of Kottaipatanam. Rana is in love with the daughter of the King of Kottaipatanam and also has to avenge the death of his father who was killed by his own king Mahendra. The ending of Kochadaiiyaan leaves a scope for a sequel.

Later Sakthi lands up in her palatial bungalow where they believe in hospitality to all guests. Sakthi is the son of Rayar’s rivals. How Sakthi escapes forms the plot.

At this juncture, the thief enters into the family with some tricks. How he manages to accomplish his task without letting anyone identify him forms the rest of the story.
Final Word If you are a Mohanlal fan too, you might feel that the movie could have been better. It is more like a half baked movie with some flaws here and there.

But the young actor is glad now people are not comparing him to his father Jackie Shroff, who, he believes, had an X-factor about him. The reviews have been kind to you and unkind to the film. A. Yes, I am with mixed feelings right now. I am a team player, so I’d have liked the film to get appreciated. At the same time, I worked very hard on the film, so I am much relieved. The kind of grind that the whole team went through for one-and-half years ...I’ve never pushed myself so hard in my life.

So much effort has gone into the film. And yet it takes one cruel line in a review to bring it Q. You are more Jackie Chan than all down. Jackie Shroff. Q. A. (laughs) Sure, I don’t mind. I am a big Jackie Chan fan. But it’s Bruce Lee whom I idolize. He is the reason I started learning martial arts.
Q. Your dad had to come up the hard way. A. Yes, my journey was made smoother because I am a star-son. Doors opened for me because of who I am. But the downside is, there is way way too much expectation from me, much more than there would have been if I were from outside the film industry. I thrive on that competition. But it does become a little hard to bear at times. Tiger Shroff is more than ready to take on action roles in Bollywood. The young lad makes a statement through these awesome leaps. Much before Bollywood newcomer Tiger Shroff decided to face the arclights, he had been working on his athletic body, flexibility and motion training.
He has been learning martial arts since the age of four and has been training in gymnastics for the last three years under the watchful eyes of his coach, Ziley Mawai, a national level gymnast from Haryana.

Titan of Telugu Cinema From a poor farmer’s son to one of the most loved and respected actors of Indian cinema, Akkineni Nageswara Rao’s journey, which lasted over seven decades, could very well make an interesting story of a film. Nageswara Rao, who as a youngster walked bare foot in Gudivada in Krishna district of coastal Andhra, rose to the dizzy heights of stardom and became a symbol of the Telugu film industry, or Tollywood as it is popularly called sometimes. ANR, as fans fondly called him, died of cancer at a private hospital here in the early hours of Wednesday, plunging the industry into gloom. He was 89 and is survived by three daughters and two sons, including popular actor Nagarjuna. ANR was the last of the most popular first generation actors of Telugu cinema and was considered one of the two all-time

“I dropped out of school because my family couldn’t afford it. I used to help my mother at her work, but at leisure, I used to stand in front of the mirror and act,” ANR told in his interview last year. “My mother noticed my interest in acting and asked my brother to introduce me to the local theatre group. I can’t even think of what I would have been if not an actor,” he had said. Akkineni Nageswara Rao was truly a rags-to-riches story. He made his cinematic debut in 1941 Telugu film “Dharmapatni” with a brief role, and in 1944 he was picked up from the platform of Bezawada (now Vijayawada) railway station and signed on to play the lead role in Telugu drama “Sitarama Jananam”. ANR never hesitated to play a variety of roles, such as a villager, an urban educated protagonist, a tragic hero and even a comedian, to sustain his popularity over the years. He believed in longevity and, therefore, constantly chose to play different roles as he never wanted the audience to get bored of seeing him on screen.

A family enters into her house as tenants and the male lead is the character named Karthik. He falls in love with Samantha at the first sight, but is hesitant to disclose his love to his beloved. Akkineni Naga Chaitanya plays the lead role of Karthik in this film and this is second film in his acting career. Karthik falls in love with Jesse (Samantha) and somehow discloses the same to her. But she is hesitant due to the age factor and also for other reasons initially. But, she falls in love with the hero, after his much persuasion and then romance starts in between them. The film, a simultaneous remake of the Tamil film Vinnaithaandi Varuvaayaa, created much anticipation prior to release, primarily due to the first-timecollaboration between Menon and composer A. R. Rahman. The actress was signed up for the project in mid August 2009 and completed schedules across India and the United States for the film which released in February 2010. The film portrays Samantha as the lead character of Jessie, which was also the working title of the film; a Malayali Christian girl living in Hyderabad, whom the male protagonist, played by Naga Chaitanya falls in love with. Upon release, Samantha received very positive reviews for her portrayal, with the film also garnering much critical acclaim. Critics at Sify claimed that Samantha was the “scene-stealer” and her beauty “is alluring” adding that “she was the girl to watch out for”. Jeevi, from the Idlebrain reviews site, cited that “Samantha’s debut is one of the best heroine debuts in Telugu cinema” and that her “minute expressions she gave spoke volumes about her”, whilst labelling the film as a “classic”. Samantha, alongside her costar, Naga Chaitanya, also appeared in a guest appearance in the Tamil version of the film. Both films emerged as grand successes whilst becoming trendsetters in Tamil and Telugu respectively, propelling Samantha to sign bigger projects. She followed up her collaborations with Gautham Menon and A. R. Rahman by appearing in the

music video for the World Classical Tamil Conference 2010 promotional song, Semmozhiyaana Tamizh Mozhiyaam, which Menon directed and Rahman composed. In one word it’s a great moment for those who have been able to experience this film during that period, and now once again be able to watch it! It happens only in India where a cricketer, who will be soon donning the national colours, is not being provided with a proper training facility in his own backyard and has to pay from his own pocket to get one. The disappointment in Kedar Jadhav’s voice was palpable even as he got the news of his maiden call-up in the national team for the tour of Bangladesh next month. “I have represented Deccan Gymkhana Club in Pune for the past 14 years. Yet, they have refused to prepare a pitch so that I can have proper net sessions ahead of Bangladesh tour. season that the selectors will reward him for his good show. “I was confident that I will be playing for India one day. My immediate goal is to do well and cement my place in the limited overs side. There are two aspects of representing the national side—playing for India and playing long enough for India. I want to play long enough for India. “I want to use this opportunity to stake a claim for the England ODIs also,” said Jadhav. Exactly when did he feel that he is ready for the next level, Jadhav answered: “The match-winning century against Mumbai at the Wankhede in the Ranji Trophy quarterfinal gave me a lot of
confidence. Beating Mumbai in Mumbai in a quarter-final with no big stars was a great achievement for us.” Jadhav also cited a couple of more knocks against quality oppositions that brought him into national reckoning. “Apart from that, I scored a triple century (327 off 317 balls) against UP in Ranji Trophy, a year before that. A half-century for India A against England at Palam ground were some of the knocks that gave me immense satisfaction. I believe I can play both forms of the game with same confidence.
