f you dig for unrestrained masala movies replete with logic-less laughs, groovy tunes and Southern-styled stunts, then this entertainer is solely for you. The Hindi remake of the Malayalam superhit “Pokkiri Raja”, “Boss” is unlike any of Akshay Kumar’s previous outings so far. He bolts back to no-holds-barred formula, delivering yet another runaway entertainer with panache. “Boss” is a quick flick that barely gives you a breather to think. It offers truckloads of fun and celebrates the stereotype in style. Made to entice the lovers of pure desi entertainers and woo the box-office, this is a film that is quite clear in its intent and delivers so with a bang. If you have a taste for old-school masaledaar entertainers, you will surely lap up this paisa vasool entertainer!
Mithun Chakraborty is quite impressive and so is Danny Denzongpa. Ronit Roy does the menacing act with grand flourish. Shiv Pandit’s screen presence is strong.
