He made his debut with Gangothri which collected good money at the boxoffice. His second movie Arya was a smashing hit and he surprised everyone with his dance movements and performance. His next movies Bunny, Happy, Desamuduru and Parugu went to be huge commercial hits which made his place stable in Tollywood. He has even seen a major downfall during this time as his movies Arya 2, Varudu, Vedam and Badrinath could not impress the audience and ended as commercial failures in the final run. He has then teamed up with Trivikram for Julayi which made the magic at the box-office collecting huge money. He has been back with Julayi and his next film Iddarammayilatho again tasted bad result at the boxoffice. His next film Race Gurram emerged as the biggest hit in his career in the direction of Surendar Reddy. The movie minted over 60 crores and emerged as the biggest hit
in the career of Bunny. He has made his entry into the big league of actors after the success of Race Gurram which is sure a turning point in his career. Sruthi Haasan played the female lead and SS Thaman composed the music. Nallamalapu Srinivas (Bujji) produced the movie on Sri Lakshmi Narasimha Productions banner. With the success of Race Gurram, Allu Arjun has been boosted up and he has recently wrapped up the shoot of his latest movie S/O Satyamurthy. Trivikram and Bunny have worked together for S/O Satyamurthy after Julayi which is one of the most awaited Tollywood films for summer. The movie has done some terrific pre release business all over and the movie will hit the screens in the first half of April. Samantha, Adah Sharma and Nithya Menon are the heroines in the film and Allu Arjun will be seen as a wedding planner in the film. Devi Sri Prasad composed the music and the audio of the film is already a huge hit and is on the top of the music charts. S Radha Krishna produced the movie on Haarika and Haasine Creations banner who produced Julayi with Allu Arjun in the past.
He has also wrapped the shoot of Rudramadevi which is a periodic drama. Anushka and Rana played the main leads in Rudramadevi which has been directed by Gunasekhar. The movie has been made on a whopping budget and Allu Arjun will reprise the role of Gona Gannareddy in the movie. Rudramadevi marks the first stereoscopic 3D film in the history of Indian cinema and it has been produced by Gunasekhar on Guna Team Works banner which will release in the last week of April. Along with these, Allu Arjun is currently the brand ambassador for 7Up, Close Up, Joyalukkas, Lot Mobiles, Olx, Hero MotoCorp and Colgate.
