DEATHS Anna Abdon Anna “Jane” Abdon, 85, formerly of Ludlow, died Jan. 28, 2013, at Citizens Memorial Hospital in Bolivar, Mo. Her husband, Allen Chester Abdon, and daughter, Emma Jane Hennemann. Survivors include her daughter, Patricia Creekmore of Panama City, Fla.; sons, Larry Abdon of Buffalo, Mo., and Billy Abdon of Albuquerque, N.M.; 10 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. Interment was at Highland Cemetery, Fort Mitchell.
Juanita Anderson Juanita Anderson, 87, of Northern Kentucky, died Jan. 26, 2013, in Pompano Beach, Fla. David Anstead David Anstead, 46, of Covington, died on Feb. 5, 2013, at University of Cincinnati Hospital. He was a security guard for the Garfield Place garage in Cincinnati. His parents, Robert and Jane Anstead; and a brother, Robert Anstead, died previously. Survivor include his sister, Martha Coffman of Fort Thomas; brothers, James Anstead of Wilder, Thomas Anstead of Alexandria, Gregory Anstead of San Antonio, Texas; and Michael Anstead of Lexington. David Baker David Allen Baker, 62, of Villa Hills, died Jan. 31, at his resi-
dence. He was a social worker for St. Luke Florence, enjoyed softball, hiking, gardening and darts, and was an avid Cubs fan. David Bishop David G. Bishop, 77, of Erlanger, died Feb. 4, 2013. He was a race horse trainer, retired teacher, track and assistant football coach at Boone County High School, and a member of the Northern Kentucky Sports Hall of Fame. His wife, Ramona I. Bishop, died previously. Survivors include his former wife, Laura Ann Bishop; son, Rod Bishop; daughter, Laural Bishop; stepson, Kevin McKeon; stepdaughter, Kim McKeon; six grandchildren; and five greatgrandchildren. Ronald Bradley Ronald Bruce Bradley, 59, of Independence, died Feb. 5, 2013, at St. Elizabeth Edgewood. He was a retired truck driver for United Parcel Service, a member of the Teamsters Local 100, an outdoorsman, and enjoyed boating, camping and motorcycling. His father, Kenneth Bradley, and stepson, Brian Hacker, died previously. Survivors include his wife, Peggy A. Bailey Bradley; son, Aaron Hacker of Elsmere; mother, Margie H. William Creutzinger William “Bill” Creutzinger, 89, of Villa Hills, formerly of Bromley, died Feb. 2, 2013, at St. Elizabeth Edgewood. He was a retired revenue agent for the Internal Revenue Service, and worked at Cinfed Credit Union as a loan officer. He received a bachelor’s degree from the University of Cincinnati in accounting and his master’s degree from Xavier University. He was an Army veteran of World War II, and was a member of Immanuel United Church of Christ in Bromley, Bromley Vets, the Ludlow Vets and the West Covington Veterans of Foreign Wars. He enjoyed boating, fishing, traveling and University of Kentucky football and basketball. Two brothers, Albert and Donald Creutzinger, and sisters, Eleanor Drohan and Dorthy Siefert, died previously. Survivors include his wife, LaJean Gilliard Creutzinger, and brother, Bob Creutzinger of Villa Hills. Burial was at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Erlanger. Joe Herindon Joe Lee “Bo” Herindon, 55, of Covington, died Jan. 30, 2013, at his residence. He was a mechanic and avid dart player. Lelia Hewitt Lelia Vivian Drake Hewitt, 91, of Erlanger, died Feb. 2, 2013, at her residence. She was a farmer who grew up in Piner and was a member of the first graduating class of Simon Kenton High School in 1939. She was a country musician who sang and played the fiddle, guitar, organ and piano. She enjoyed reading, hummingbirds and her dog, Buffy. Her husband, William Ray Hewitt, and daughter, Barbara Dragoo, died previously. Survivors include her son-inlaw, David Dragoo of Erlanger, and two grandchildren.

Katherine Key Katherine “Kati” Key, 83, of Alexandria, died Feb. 5, 2013, at Judson Care Center in Cincinnati. She was a waitress for Hathaway’s downtown Cincinnati. Her husband, William Cogel Key Jr., died previously. Survivors include her daughters, Deborah Veirs of Butler, Kim Stitt of Morning View, and Teresa Hunt of Clarkston, Mich.; sons, William Key, III, of Sharpsburg and James Key of Alexandria; 17 grandchildren; 21 greatgrandchildren; and two greatgreat-grandchildren. Charles Lanningham Charles Edward Lanningham, 86, of Covington, died Feb. 3, 2013, at St. Elizabeth Edgewood. He was a Navy veteran of World War II and worked for Gray Co. as a machine operator. His wife, Sue Wolfe Lanningham, died previously. Survivors include his brother, Robert Lanningham, and sisterin-laws, Carolyn Wilham and Lucille Lanningham. Dorothy Masters Dorothy Masters, 82 of Covington, died Feb. 6, 2013, at the Select Specialty Hospital in Fort Thomas. She had retired from Western-Southern Life Insurance Co. as a supervisor. After retirement she worked part-time at Bernhard’s Bakery in Independence. A member of Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church in Ryland Heights, she served as church secretary. She enjoyed the Reds and the outdoors. Survivors include a niece; four nephews; and many greatnieces and –nephews. Memorials: Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church.
Melba McCune Melba R. Ahrman McCune, 89 of Latonia, died Feb. 1, 2013, at St. Elizabeth Fort Thomas. She was a charter member of Ashland Avenue Baptist Church in Latonia, where she was also a Sunday school teacher. She retired from Dow Chemical Co. as a mail clerk and enjoyed her cat, Murphy.
