MainStrasse hosts car show MainStrasse Village’s eighth annual car show sponsored by KOI Auto Parts will be Sunday, Aug. 1, in MainStrasse Village, Covington. Cars will be parked on the tree-lined streets and walkways of the village and historic Goebel Park, the home of the Carroll Chimes Bell Tower. There is no admission charge. Clarence “Junior” Meriweather Jr., 82, Newport, died June 23, 2010, at Hospice of the Bluegrass Care Center, Fort Thomas. He worked in maintenance for the hotel industry for many years.
