Thomas D. Armsey, 82, of Delhi Township died Feb. 11. He was a U.S. Arm veteran, a charter member of Miami View Golf Club, and a member of the Industrial Advertisers of Cincinnati. Survived by Armsey wife of 57 years Mary E. (nee Conroy) Armsey; children Ellen (Lauri MacNeel), Thomas D. M.D. (Kelley R.N.) and Christopher (Sarah) Armsey; grandchildren Kate and Madeline Armsey, Lauren and Erin; great-grandchild Sophia; other family and many friends and golfing buddies. Cindy A. Bruder, 55, of Cheviot died Feb. 16. Survived by father Donald F. Bruder; brother Donald A. (Tracey) Bruder; nieces Brittany (Josh) Heidebrink and Caitlin Bruder (Brad Bruder Stevens); great-nieces/nephews Brady, Blake, Bryce and Lane. Preceded in death by mother Marilyn L. William J. Borell William J. Borell, 92, of Miami Heights died Jan. 24. He was a retired meat inspector for USDA, member of the K of C and VFW. Survived by wife Shirley M. Robert Woodruff Franks Robert Woodruff Franks, 97, of Delhi Township died Feb. 17. He served in both World War ll and the Korean War. He was a an industrial engineer for the Procter and Gamble Company, his career lasting 35 years. Upon his retirement he served many in the community with Tax and Estate Planning. Bob had a deep love and compassion for those with disabilities and In 1967 he was appointed the first Chairman of the Hamilton County Board of Mental Retardation, now called the Hamilton County Board of Developmental Disability Services. In 1981 he was honored for his years of service when the Robert W. Franks Adult Center was named for him. Survived by children Patty (David) Harris, Nan Franks, Jane (Rick) Titus and Gus (Tara) Poneris; grandchildren Hayley (Ryan) Picchini, Beau Harris, Matt Titus, Jaime Richardson, Jacob (Madison) Richardson, Kacy Titus, Colin and Kristos Poneris; greatgrandchild Kendall Picchini. Margaret Ellen Kortekamp Margaret Ellen (nee Hoffman) Kortekamp, 88, of Green Township died Feb. 19. She was a proud graduate of Seton High School, University of Cincinnati and received her masters degree from Kortekamp Mount St. Joseph College. She retired from Cincinnati Public Schools where she worked as a teacher. Robert B. Mecklenborg Robert B. Mecklenborg, 91, of Cleves died Feb. 23. He was a veteran of the Army Air Corps and fought in WWII. He was general agent for the Ohio National Life Insurance Co., long time Mechlenborg member and past president of Miami View Golf Club. He was an inductee of the Price Hill Baseball Hall of Fame, and an alumnus of Western Hills High School and University of Cincinnati.
