David Paul Ammerman, 58, of Pierce Township died June 10. He was a veteran of the Vietnam War. The annual St. Thomas More JulyFest, one of the largest festivals on the eastside, is the second full weekend in July and is the major fundraiser for the parish. JulyFest was voted best festival in Clermont County for 2005. The 2011 event will be 6 p.m. to midnight Friday, July 8; 6 p.m. to midnight Saturday, July 9; and 2 p.m. to 10 p.m. Sunday, July 10. The church is at 800 Ohio Pike in Withamsville, one mile east of the Beechmont Avenue exit off Interstate 275. JulyFest offers entertainment for the entire family: Games and midway rides for children, bid ‘n buy, grand raffle and games for adults, including the JulyFest casino, open until 1 a.m. Friday and Saturday nights. This year’s JulyFest will include a variety of refreshments and food, including a pig roast dinner from 1 p.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday.

A new “quiet area” will be available for moms and their babies for privacy with diapering and nursing. Plenty of parking available onsite and shuttle parking also is available. This year’s entertainment theme is: JulyFest 2011 – A Toast to faith, friends, and family fun … with a side of Summer Jams. The schedule is:
