DEATHS Donald Bolte Donald W. Bolte, 70, of Florence, died May 19, 2013, at St. Elizabeth Edgewood. He was an Army veteran, retired from the banking industry, and was a longtime member of St. Paul Church. Survivors include his wife, Kathleen of Florence; son, Daniel Bolte of Florence; daughters, Deborah Bolte Collins of Union, and Dawn Marie Bolte of Florence; brothers, Larry of Union, Gary of Florence, and Jeff of Melbourne. Interment was at St. Mary Cemetery in Fort Mitchell. Michael Bradford Michael R. Bradford, 26, of Grovetown, Ga., formerly of Fort Thomas, died May 16, 2013, in Kabul, Afghanistan. He was an instructor of law enforcement and safety with DynCorp, teaching Afghan soldiers and children. He was a Army veteran and an inactive Army Reservist. Survivors include his wife, Sasha Cantrell Bradford; their unborn son, Michael Robert Bradford II; father, Gary Bradford; mother, Linda Faulkner Bradford; brothers, Chris and Kenny Bradford; grandparents, Bob and Nancy Faulkner, and Bob and Gwen Bradford. Burial will be at the Arlington National Cemetery in Arlington, Va. Barbara Cooper Barbara A. Cooper, 71, of Cold Spring, died May 18, 2013, at St. Elizabeth Edgewood. She was a production technician at Proctor & Gamble. Her son, Michael Webb; and grandsons, Robert Andrew and Andrew Robert Webb, died previously. Survivors include her husband, James Cooper; sons, Robert Webb, Robert Cooper and James Cooper II; daughters, Terry Marcum, Patricia WebbPullano and Diane Records; brothers, Gene, Wayne and Billy; sisters, Melba and Ginny; 17 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Melvin Dickerson Capt. Melvin Dickerson, 94, of Highland Heights, died May 20, 2013. He retired after serving in the
Air Force for 35 years. He was a World War II pilot, flight instructor during the Korean and Vietnam wars, a 33rd degree Mason, was retired from GE Evendale, and a member of Newport Elks 273. Survivors include his son, Paul Dickerson of Highland Heights; brother, Art Dickerson; and sister, Vivian Dickerson. Mildred Glaza Mildred T. Glaza, 79, of Ryland Heights, died May 18, 2013, at St. Elizabeth Edgewood. She was a member of the Staffordsburg United Methodist Church in Independence, member of the Independence Homemakers Club, and enjoyed crafting and sewing. Her husband, Joseph Glaza; sisters, Claudia Scott and Mame Hampton; brother, Raymond Zimmerman; and granddaughter, Laura Glaza, died previously. Survivors include her sons, Steve Glaza of Falmouth and Jeff Glaza of Visalia; sisters, Wilma Zimmerman of Latonia, Victoria Johnson of Crittenden, Debbie Zimmerman of Fort Thomas, and Pam Schaefer of Marietta, Ga.; brothers, Thomas Zimmerman of Burlington, and Richard Zimmerman of Seattle; and three grandchildren. Diane Jolley Diane Carol Barnes Jolley, 79, of Fort Thomas, died May 20, 2013, at St. Elizabeth Fort Thomas. She was a homemaker. Her daughter, Kathleen Diane Jolley Adkins, died previously. He was a three-year letterman on the Xavier University basketball team as well as its captain his senior year, and was inducted into the Northern Kentucky Sports Hall of Fame. He served in the Army Air Corp during World War II as a navigator of a B-29, based on Tinian Island in the South Pacific, his career included executive and partner positions with several firms, he enjoyed golf and tennis, and he was a member of Capital City Club for 44 years. He obtained a business degree and worked many years as a CPA, an Amway salesman, and more recently, as a parttime employee at the West Chester, Ohio Wal-Mart. His wife Margie Snell, and son, Donald Snell, died previously. Survivors include his twin brother, Herbert Snell of Latonia; and niece Sandy Snell of Alexandria among other extended family members. Interment was at Floral Hills Cemetery.
