The appeals court affirmed the jury's verdict awarding $2.7 million to Kyle and his parents for the injuries they sustained as a result of Dr. Huber's negligence, but sent the case back to the trial court for the limited purpose of increasing the amount of interest awarded to Kyle and his parents on the judgment they were awarded against Dr. Huber.
