Hello everyone! We hope that you all had as great a January as we did here at TGM! The year has officially started fantastically and we can’t wait to dive into 2023 properly. Speaking of what’s coming in 2023, there is an array of great shows and events coming up! We’re diving into a couple of them in our event and show preparation focus which can be found from page 36. We’re also looking into new treatments this issue, alongside a few tips on business addons to consider for the year ahead.

The Pet Industry Federation has announced Bruce Casalis as its new Chair following a recent board meeting this month.

Founder of Bruce’s Doggy Day Care (www.bruces.dog) in 2008, Casalis has been a board Director of the Pet Industry Federation since 2018 and is a recognised pioneer in the pet service sector.

PIF CEO, Nigel Baker commented: “We are delighted to have secured someone of Bruce’s calibre to Chair PIF. There are a lot of exciting developments in the pipeline for PIF members this year and we very much look forward to working with Bruce to help bring these to fruition.”

New Chair, Bruce Casalis added: “I am excited to be taking on the Chair role in PIF’s 75th year and am looking forward to using my experience and passion to help the Federation grow and become an even more effective ambassador for the pet industry.”

Casalis began a two-year term as Chair in January 2023; details of PIF’s 2023 event schedule will be released shortly.
